I am still kinda new and we didn't do our scores. Been trying to figure out all morning how to do that.
how to do your score? thats easy, you simply count all the reps you did so for example:

you did the first 40 burpees, the first 30 snatches, the second 30 burpees and the second 30 snatches and you score is 130 (40+30+30+30)

That seems almost too simple Haha Ok awesome! Then do you add the amrap into your score?

Your score is how many reps you did. The time at which you finished your last full set of 30 snatches is your time, which acts as a tie breaker for people with the same rep count. So if you did 40 burpees, 30 snatches at 75, 30 burpees, 30 snatches at 135 and finished that set at 10 minutes in, let's say, then 20 burpees but couldn't get any snatches at 165, your score would be 40+30+30+30+20=150/10:00 time. You'll notice on the leaderboard there are a lot of people tied at 150. Those that finished the 135 set of snatches faster are ranked higher.

Some real freaks at the top of the leader board. Looks like everyone in the top 10 has played, at minimum, High School sports with the majority going on to college and pro sports.

freaking Neal Maddox is a BEAST. i think that the only thing keeping him from placing or even winning the games is his mental game. last year he fell apart on the rope climbs.

40 Burpees,75 pound Snatch 30 reps, 30 Burpees,135 pound Snatch 30 reps, 20 Burpees, 165 pound Snatch 30 reps, 10 burpees. 11:32 or so accounting for time to turn around and check the clock. The 210 pound Snatch was to much weight and I knew that coming into this so I adjusted for 185 at 22 reps. Probably the hardest I have pushed myself in awhile! It was fun.....when it was over and I could breath again! Also I am sure the are some missed reps in there from bad form and/or exhaustion.

holy crap. you do realize that if you only did even a single rep at 210 that would have put you at 6th in the world right?

If I am there for my buddies video attempt then I will redo it go for 210 and get one to you. Exactly why I didn't want to post my score. Figured it would be immediately hated on

No 'hating' at all. But you have to understand the skepticism when an unknown posts on a forum that he put up a time on a workout that basically ties Dan Bailey, who finished 6th in the world at the Games the last 2 years.

hated on? are you for real? i am super impressed and am dying to see it!! its amazing score and after seeing Dan Baily fail to get a single snatch at 210, it would be awesome to see someone that is not even a Games competitor bang even a single rep out.

No I didn't lol, but you also have to account that we did it in a large group and I can't watch myself for perfect form. So I am sure my actual score is lower when you figure in missed reps ect. I know I am in shape but I highly doubt able to compete with any of those boys!

That is understandable completely. But again there are so many other factors that could bring my score down also and not even be on their scale. You know?

Hence the polite video request. Remember to be an official result you have to jump after every burpee and touch a target 6" above your outstretched hand.

Remember what makes the games (or any test of fitness) accurate is standards. Meet the standards of every rep. Having a trained judge counting them and "no-repping" you when you did not meet the standards. Saying you did 30 burpees, but not touching your chest to the ground or reaching the above target is not going to meet the standards, and therefore not going to be an accurate test of your fitness.

There are tons of "stud athletes" in the gym that put up incredible times and we see them not reaching full depth on squats, or not quite reaching the target on wallballs, etc. etc. That's fine, it's not my place to correct them or argue that it isn't "Rx" or whatever. But when there is a judge ensuring that each rep meets standards, they are usually in for a big awakening.

Just like a donkey putting 455 on their back and dropping two inches just to stand back up and call it a squat PR. If it wouldn't fly in a meet, then it doesn't really count now does it?

Lol this is why I was saying I doubt I got every Rep in! I finished the exercise and went as hard as a could through the entire thing, but I bet there are some of not more reps than I remember being missed. Maybe I should have put that with my initial post on here. But hey what does it hurt to try, maybe I will give it another attempt this weekend.

You'd be surprised how much harder and slower these workouts are when every rep meets standards

No back pedal, I did say this from the beginning. But what does it hurt to go for a coach spotted attempt. All I know is I am happy with how hard I pushed. I didn't even care about a score until I saw how to score it. Good Orbad score, either way I don't really care. I just love to put in the work and see how far I can push myself.
