Default Ground Location

I have what i assume is a loose ground and its not obvious where it bolts to.

Its the cable highlighted in the diagram below, the one that does not continue to the starter motor.

Anyone have an idea where this bolts to?

I think it goes to the firewall close to pitch mount.
don't quote me though.

^^ Very close. Looking at the motor from the front of the car - just to the left of the starter, there is a bolt on top of the transmission. This is where your main ground coming from the battery should be attached.

This. It is the main ground for the battery, so make sure that it is connected sooner rather than later.

Thanks for the help. I suspect its been hanging there since i changed my clutch last year. Whoops.
