Was thinking about getting a window tint. Also was considering a carbon fiber hood but I might die a little inside if I do, plus I'm not sure how it would look.

To each his own, I guess. If you guys choose to remain 4x4 so you can haul ass around the right hand turn at 14th and Main St., so be it.

Couple more pictures including my sub $500 (even including the tune) VF39 and my experimental TMIC setup. Might not look the best but it is better than paying more than double for a VF52 and AVO/Perrin TMIC.

Just wondering, anyone have a picture of a carbon fiber hood on a WRB Sedan? Seen them on 08+ STIs and they look good, but STIs have those flares so I'm not sure.

Awesome! Do you have some shots of the side where the turbo connects to the IC? Where did you get this setup from? They would sell sooooo many of these IC's if they can use the STi style turbo.

who said anything about street racing? That **** is lame.

I bought this car for autocross, rallycross, and track days....not for looks. I don't think our cars are particularly great looking, but the performance makes up for it. There are other cars in the price range that are better looking if that's the goal....

But hey, if you want that mad tyte JDM tuner stance when you're hanging out in the mall parking lot, thats cool too. Each to his own.

But making fun of "4x4" stance seems kind of silly considering these cars have a rally heritage. And rally cars...they sit quite a bit higher

Was actually a project my dad and I did. Original thread can can be found here with lots of pictures: http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=105992

This was pretty easy to do and we didn't have a parts list or anything. My dad (theotherguy) lists all the things needed in the legacyGT thread to make this. Someone on the same thread claimed that he was making the intercooler kit, not sure what the status of that is so far.

And that's the beauty of coilover's right? When track days come around, slap on the track wheels, raise it up, dial in the alignment, and boom ready go.

Considerably more power with the VF39, I'd say 60-70+whp more than a stage 2 TD04 (though I can't say for sure as I only have dyno results from the VF39). Only bad thing about the VF39 is that it has noticeably more turbo lag. For every day driving around town the TD04 is probably the better turbo.

Yeah, it was pretty much the cheapest grill they had on Ebay, came straight from Hong Kong, Japan (got hella JDM street cred when I put this on, think I got like 20 whp from it as well). Thought I'd give it a chance, I figured that I could always paint it WR blue if I didn't like the carbon fiber. I actually like how it looks and you can't really tell that it is carbon fiber until you are close up to it.

I don;'t think they look that great that low....Too much rice. IMHO, they look worse than the 4x4 look that way...especially with stock wheels tucked in so far. With stock wheels, you need a 2 finger gap min.

Besides, without correction for bumpsteer and rollcenter, the handling will not be great unless you are at stock height.

They do. The 08/09 intercooler is smaller, but the scoop does it's job very well on these cars making it very efficent for it's size.

Pics of the cutoff with the new bulbs??? I'm curious to know how well HID bulbs work with halogen projectors... The whip looks good btw.
