I love my TurboXS. It's huge piping creates a very deep rumble.

-I make double what I use to make
-Although there isn't much difference in the quality of the interior...I have heard it's actually a little more solid in comparison from an 08 WRX to 2012 STI.
-I had an 08 WRX which had all the ****ty specs. (If I had an 09 or 10) I prob wouldn't have changed.
-I no longer have time to keep filling my meth tank when it's low, checking if my FMIC is leaking, etc.
-I will me modding the STI...But not as heavily as I did with the WRX
-I spend almost 20k in the WRX(cosmetic and power) in mods and it was still in my eyes an average performance car, I only made 275hp 350tq, and if I went any further I prob would have blown it up.
-I used the WRX for work so the interior and exterior took some beating. The new car will just be used to drive 10 miles to work, park, 10 miles back.
-My new payments will be lower since my credit is alot better now and I will be putting a lot down, when I got the WRX I was broke

First week plans for the car.
-Downpipe
-Exhaust
-Access Port
-Stage 2 Pro Tune
That is true, the 08 is basically the Bastard Child of Subaru Since you have an 08 pushing around 275, do you think the 09-10 will push a bit more since Subaru upgraded the turbo and such? I wish I owned a STi but, i think for me WRX is suitable for me haha. Good luck on the purchase and modification I know you wont disappoint since your car is one of my "I wish my car was like his car" type.

Yeah many people on the 2011 Subaru WRX/STI exhaust compilation liked the TurboXS more than the Invidia Q300 due to the fact that it doesn't drone. Still debating N1 or TurboXS or Tsudo haha.

In my opinion, the N1 is kind of played out; it's the old-school fast and the furious look. Plus, it only fills out one side of the rear bumper on the sedans.

Yes, more peak HP and less peak TQ for the same 'stage 2' type bolt on mods.

I have the Q300 (dual sedan) and love it. It doesn't drone at all, and I've never heard anyone else mention it droning. It can get a bit of a resonance at certain low rpms, but freeway or cruising drone? Not a bit.

Glad your okay man.

Think it this way. The subaru loved you enough to risk its own life to save yours. I mean, that's what makes a subaru a subaru, right?

I don't believe so but I could be wrong... As far as I know treble racing/ forman performance are the only people that make a rear diffuser and its like $600

Yes I know that but I wanted an exhaust that is somewhat loud. For some reason I feel the N1 is the loudest personally.

I see. Yeah now I am in a bind between the Q300, Tsudo, TurboXS, or maybe the Ultimate Racing Exhaust.

If you want a loud exhaust, hit up Crawford Performance and get one of their Gymkhana exhausts.

I never understood why people always called the 08 the bastard child, the 06/07 has the same turbo as the 08? lol never made sense to me. Yea the 09+ has the VF52 but why arent people calling all models pre 09 bastard children? lmao *shrug*

Yes it does...the only difference is the connection to the top mount. 03-07 wrx turbo connected through a coupler connection, 08 wrx TD04 has a flange connection. Same turbo, same power, different design.
