what a bully =\

but yes, they were matte black. they were in terrible condition. very dirty, curbed and it looked like the color was fading. since i was eager to slap the wheels on and didn't feel like paying for a $$ powdercoat job, i spent the entire sunday afternoon prepping and rattlecanning them. $50 job... and i'm pretty happy... tho ill probably pull the trigger and powdercoat them when it's time to replace the tires (@ 50-60% tread atm)

2 cans of krylon primer, 3 cans of duplicolor silver and 2 cans of clearcoat. the 3m aerosol trigger is the key component in making the job a million times easier

Haha, dang you beat me... Bought like 2 cans of primer and 2 cans of just flat black paint... ended up using 1 can of each

^ 1 can only eh? should've atleast emptied both cans of paint lol. the paint starts to fade and deteriorate after awhile with such a thin layer of paint esp. without a clearcoat. i dumped all 3 cans of silver and 2 cans of clearcoat on all 4 wheels lol. but i guess that works for the mean time if you have plans in the near future of re-doing them via powdercoat, ppg paint, etc.

Probably because generally blue and red together don't look good.

they're pratically complimentary colors... I can't even count how many sports teams, businesses, etc have that as their colors... how do they not look good together??

Idk where you got ugly from haha but I bought it Because I'm gonna make it look dope as ****. And so far I haven't seen one blue 12 Subaru that actually looks clean. Also I Was kinda forced into getting this one because I sold my car privately and didn't have a car haha

I want to wait but it will probably be soon haha. I've already ordered front and rear sway bars end links short shifter with bushing eibach pro kit springs and a exhaust cut out to install in the mid pip of the spt exhaust and I'm getting my windows tinted tomorrow. The springs and sways were a package though I bought the eibach pro plus kit

Going to wait for a while before I go messing with the motor.
