Just found this website with all the vinyl/blacked out mods we can do to our sedans:

Premium Auto Styleing - WRX sedan

Eventually I'm going to do:

-Vinyl roof, tail-light overlay, 3rd brake light overlay, window trim vinyl

The vinyl roof overlay is probably over my head as far as installing since I don't have experience with body work, but I'm wondering if I would be able to do the tail-light overlay, 3rd brake light overlay and window trim vinyl by myself. Everything is pre-cut so is that difficult?

Where did you bring it and how much did he charge? There's a lot of little things that need to be improved on the exterior of the sedans.

How did the install with the window trim go? Did you do it yourself?

Is his name Stew, Perry, or Frank? I've had work done at Route 53 on all my previous cars and was always impressed with the outcome.

i've done quite a few overlays (foglights, headlights, taillights, etc.) over the years. a water/soap mixture and a blow-dryer/heatgun works wonders when applying vinyl overlay to eliminate air bubbles and creases. but there's really only one key component to be successful in applying vinyl overlay perfectly = patience

No clue if you are on 3gwrx, but boostaddict has a promo code for...free shipping or was it 25% off for april.

And.. the tail-light overlays you can find on ebay for $10 + free shipping. Cut exactly for our tails

Go to your dealer and get the actual one that's painted to match from the factory... It's only like 250-300.

Yup even on my '11... I just use Mothers Headlight Polish/Cleaner once every couple of months to keep them shiny.

I thought about that, the other option is $180 for a new 2009 bumper.
