I love the trim delete around the Subaru logo upfront. Is it easy to remove and put back on?

so a couple months ago i said i was going to post some pics of my sedan with the invidia n1 race exhaust but i never did. finally one day a few weeks back i snapped a quick pic with my cel when i still had tint on my tails and my rotas. today i took two quick pictures at my girlfriends house because she put something on my car i thought was really funny and i thought i would post the pics up today. sorry about the quality but here they are:

(11/9/09)heres what my sedan looks like with the invidia n1 race exhaust. i also removed the tint from the tail lights because i started not liking the look of it. i also put my stock rims on because i want to blend in as much as possible this holiday season. sad to say but in my area having nice cars with semi-nice (i have rotas lol) rims makes you a target for robberies this time of the year. you cant really tell that im on the stockers but i thought id mention it. i also plan on painting that chrome strip on the trunk some time soon.

another rear view of the exhaust i took a few weeks ago.

and this is what my girlfriend put in my windshield. i found it really funny because she knows i do not like hondas im going to leave it in my windshield so i can laugh at people who see it and compliment my "honda." this has happened before and im like

anyway im going to post some better quality pics when i put my rotas back on in january

For the 2009 and 2010 Sedans...

Do you get a lot of rattles/creeks from the rear deck (behind the rear seats)?

Yes, definitely. Even when I had stock catback, I would still hear some rattles here and there (maybe it was just license plate at the time, but I assume its the rear deck)

These sounds were heightened once the catback--and especially turboback, were installed.

Thanks, now I'm def not upgrading to an 09+. I've had the dealership look at it twice and it never gets totally fixed. It is a huge annoyance on my '08. I still don't understand how Subaru doesn't test these cars over bad surfaces to get rid of all the rattles.

I had a rattle near the back window. I ripped up a rag and stuffed it in from the trunk side.

Cry more?

Try to use both sides of your brain when fixing problems such as rattling... seriously.

It really hindered the performance of my vehicle when I had the minor rattle, fortunately I was able to fix it in less than a minute.

The car shouldn't have any rattles to start with. It costs $30,000. Plus the dealership put in some sticky tape junk and that didn't fix the issue either. Two attempts w/o resolving the issue.

How did you remove the rear deck? Did you break any of the tabs?

Not that this is the thread for this, but I have creaks, rattles, and buzzes all over the place, particularly around the glass (both front and rear). Definitely makes the car go slower and much less fun to drive

I took black construction paper and folded it up and wedged it in between the glass and the trim in a few places. Why construction paper? Its easier to stuff into the gap than cloth . . . . solved most of the issues around the glass.

Inside your trunk there are vent holes and other accesspoints for the panel that occupies that space between your rear windshield and your trunk. You can stuff stuff in the holes. Some holes are for the vents, others are just there for running wires/access to screws/etc..

I just ripped up an old shirt and stuff a piece up in there.

They do when you drive on horrible roads with a 30+ minute commute and it rattles and buzzes almost non-stop. It is embarrassing if someone else is in the car. brand new car and it rattles more than my old 2005.

Somewhere on here a person added a lightbar to the front. They had a few other rally inspired addons too... I'd have to hunt for the picture, though.
