I agree. The OEM bodykit can sometimes tend to make the car look Corolla'ish.

I have to agree. I might have to rip mine off. It looks a lot better without.

WRX looks best with the kit. Horrible without.

You can't take off the front lip as it is the bumper itself. It's not an attachment. The car will look dumb without the skirts and rear spats.

Thank you. I thought I was going crazy. I think the sedans look 10x better with the OEM body kit. Why would you want it to look like a base Impreza?

We have an example of how much better it looks on this page.

This page does have 4 of my favorite 3g sedans though. KPsti, wowrx, Irish44, and @nt all look great.

The Corolla comment is overplayed. I park next to one daily and they look nothing alike. If you are that narrow minded you could say the 05 STI looks like a KIA.

But on a non-bashing note, check out this post I made about WRX front lips: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1886922

JNA Performance just came out with a lip for $99. I'll be picking one up after the holidays. Hardware included.

i know its overplayed and i was referring to the front lip spoiler looking like the corollas front lip, not the whole car looking like a corolla. i know what the 08+ wrx looks like because i drive one every day. dont worry, if i ever become narrow minded, i will keep my mouth shut.

as for the lip, i have my mind set on the looks of the factory one.

Couple pics of mine in some snow.

Need some more snow, but it was still fun, and I think some of them came out pretty well for what little snow there was.

What bulbs are do you have for your foglights? Where did you get your HID conversion?

the oem brakes are actually a pretty good size for a car of this weight. The dual piston fronts aren't flashy, but the braking performance is equal to the red 4-pots on the 06-07s, with maybe a bit less feel.

Plus we have larger rear rotors than the earlier rexes.

The rotors on my wrx are actually bigger than the stock brakes on my maxima, which is a larger car!

Yeah, they could look better, but performance > looks.

Your car looks good woWRX. Sometimes I want those rims instead of my Blitz wheels. I would also like Advans, but I'm broke.
