Hey. I am selling these for a friend. They are DMS camber plates. The fronts have only been taken out of the package for inspection. The rears are used and in great shape. These plates have MANY adjustments, and are highly respected in the racing community.

Received the camber plates from this seller, but he never sent the hardware for them as promised. Now the seller won't return messages or phone calls. Multiple attempts have been made to work this out with the seller, but all have fallen on deaf ears.

BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS SELLER!!!

Does anyone know this guy or Jeremiah Benton??? Supposedly this is the third party...

From my other "scammer" thread here:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...1#post26955632

Your parts will be on the way tomorrow. Sometimes **** happens, and there is a chain of events that are out of your control. Unfortunately, this is one of those times.

I am sorry that you are on the receiving end, but you have to realize how ridiculous you sound right now. You really expect people to believe that I am trying to scam you out of $100-$150 worth of hardware for camber plates that you already received?!? What actual value does this hardware have that I would possibly benefit from "scamming" you?

If I were scamming you, you would not have received ****.

I spoke with Fine Line Imports today, and apparently you have also spoke with them recently. After I got back from my emergency business (where I have been since 4 AM Sunday Morning) I noticed a paypal claim for $250.

So tell me, who is trying to scam who here? How do you explain a claim for $100 more than the actual price of the hardware?

BTW, the parts would have to come from Canada, not Australia.

What it comes down to, is that you dumped a ton of money into your car, and then you took a shortcut at a crucial time of your build. I have continuously admitted that I failed to ship the parts in a timely manner, but I get the feeling that you are feeling like an ass right now for taking a shortcut that has cost more in the long run. Trying to destroy my reputation as a seller is not going to help get your time or money back.

I have offered to help you recover some of the money lost from your missed alignments and your track day when I am financially capable of doing so. I suggest you stop sending me harassing e-mails, stop trying to destroy my reputation with claims of me "scamming" you, and stop attempting to rip me off through paypal.

Bottom line: The hardware WILL be shipped, and the claim WILL be dismissed. I WILL try and make good on this in the future, but not if you keep harassing me.

USPS tracking number:

0306 3030 0000 7072 2128

P.S. it will probably be tomorrow before it is in their system, so give it a minute before you jump on the "he posted a bogus tracking number!!" bandwagon.

Seems like crap has been happening all month and with multiple buyers... I was pretty up front before I even paid you for this stuff about when I needed it and left you almost two weeks to get it shipped. You could have told me you would not be able to meet my timetable and avoided all this. Now the missing hardware has been missing for almost two weeks beyond getting the camber plates late. Repeated attempts to contact you and your friend, who you are selling for, have gone unanswered. Any normal person would loose hope at some point that they were ever going to receive the stuff.

There has been a total lack of reliable communication. Your friend Jeremiah said that you had the hardware, you said that he was supposed to ship stuff. Blah, blah, blah... You can only trust so much misinformation.

I've bought thousands of dollars worth of parts off these forums and not one of those transactions has ever been an issue. All the parts have been in brand new condition (which your stuff is). It is not a short cut, it is just strategic use of my hard earned money.

I'll agree "scammer" is the wrong term, you're just a "flaky seller." Go cry the blues to someone else and stop wasting peoples time. If you can't get stuff to people on time and can't communicate properly then you shouldn't be selling stuff here. And if you're so worried about "your" reputation you should stop selling stuff for other people who are unreliable. I have to admit I do feel like an ass for doing business with you. Had I known what was going to happen I would have gone another route. So good job on making every seller on the forums a little less trustable. Congratulations!!! I do feel pretty good about letting the community know about a flaky seller, though... Hopefully I save someone else from going through this with you.

I'll leave my paypal dispute in place. I spent $130 replacing the missing hardware and getting it shipped (from Canada) so I could get the car up and running finally. There is also another $180 worth of missed events, so $250 on the paypal dispute seems fair.

bump for resolution, at least as far as I am concerned. The remaining parts were shipped out over a week ago, and Paypal has closed the dispute/claim in my favor.

For the record, I would still like to know whether he received the parts. The tracking number never showed in the USPS system, which happens occasionally with expedited USPS shipping.

For the record they were my camber plates. Adam was nice enough to post them for me because I was so busy. I totally spaced the hardware, my fault entirely. Adam was at my house and offered to send them out. He ended up not having time do to his work schedule as a firefighter.

I told the buyer I would send the hardware and stayed in contact with him. Even when I told him I would drive to get the hardware the next day and ship it and he agreed, he still chose to go buy new hardware. Point being sorry for any issues but you sir did not buy from a company that can guarantee shipping. We did the best we could. If anyone is to blame it is me and not Adam. So throw your stones this way.

Anyways enjoy the camber plates, they are the best made imho.
