Sheet, I just got everything back together the day before and I couldn't run it because I didn't have a map and was locked out with ECUtek. Fine tuning with Jon after I rectify some problems should bring spool down a bit. I'm going to log and print out one of Airboys dyno plots tonight or tomorrow.
That may have had something to do with be not being able to get over 25psi on race gas too.

Stock HG with custom Wisecos to acheive 8.5:1(on paper). The past two tuners have said my motor breathes nicely.

Damn, your car came out great! I'm glad to see another higher compression hybrid car. Amazing numbers!

I'll have graphs of my final tune on a Mustang dyno up soon.

perhaps due to combo of cams/porting/no AVCS?

I have also been told by someone that frequents the forums that the smaller ATP housings hurts spool as well as top end, iirc. We'll see when I get my atp 35r done.

When I log on the street I see peak boost ~3900rpm in 3rd and 3400rpm in 4th. Its no where near as laggy as shown on the dyno.

Not hating on your ride or you mate, but man that dyno is almost as bad as a dynojet.

Here is a more realistic dyno plot from the 91 log you provided (and still a great results compared to real results):

Yeah I new it reads similarly to a dynojet. I was expecting about a 30whp difference to mustang equivalent numbers. I'll still take 374whp on a mustang though on straight 91. Next time I get some Q16 in there I'll post a log. Thanks.

Most definately - imagine if you had 93

Or even better, is there a petrol station that sells E85 close - you'd definately be over 400whp then

Sweet man, as soon as you post the logs I'll make the plot and add the results to the list.

BTW, you're now in the NASIOC Top 10 - Most Powerful 2.5L - congrats mate

Try a log with only rpm logged. The software is not perfect and quite often you will get a rise in whp at the end of a log.

A log with much higher resolution will show things a little more clearly.

i think you could stand to go at least a half point leaner on q16.

one tuner told me 30-50whp can be had by going from 12 to 12.3-12.5.

We need kbizzle and stimo to get their road logs into the thread tooo.

i was always curious of the power difference of a stock loc gt30 vs rotated. looks like bizzle did 50-60whp more.

if you go to the track be sure and do a 3rd gear pull on the street that day so we can equate airboys numbers to trap speeds. My log from lunch when i was down there only showed 340-350whp.....for 115mph.

Q16 is great stuff and incredibly forgiving of AFR, but there is absolutely no way you will gain 30-50whp by leaning it out half a point. I've seen 10-15whp by going from 12:1 to 12.5:1 on cars with similar size turbos with Q16.

sounded like a lot to me too......but the tuner didnt specify the setup, merely said something along the lines of "i've seen gains as high as 30-50whp by....."

come to think of it it oould have been said about going from 11.5 to 12.5.
