2008 STI 5 Spoke rims and BBS rims interchangeable?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if the 5 spoke stock STI rims were interchangeable with the BBS rims?

The reason i'm asking is because I would like to use the 5 spoke for winter driving and the BBS ones for non-winter driving. Would there need to be any modifications/adjustments made when i'm switching out the tires/rims.

Depends. What kind of car do you have as those are 5x114.3 wheels. I am not sure on the specs though for those wheels. I think they are fairly heavy though (something like 27.5 lbs) or maybe I was looking at a different wheel from the newer models.

If you own an 08-09 STi, There is no problem with switching between those wheels.

The only issue would be with the TPMS, having to get it resynced when you swap wheels.. or just living with the light.

even the older bbs wheels (minus the 04) work on the 08/09.
