First impression said this is impressive, mainly b/c I've only seen one on my trips to Japan...but red mudflaps? Presonally that's like some antique of a man that likes Earl Grey and reminiscing about the Great War putting curb feelers on his Bentley.
I digress...it's still a beast in sheeps clothing. |

assuming the are rally armor red ones its ok, if not i suggest going with some prodives, would be the best for the look and heritage of the car. as for the car, holy grail of subarus. have you driven another subaru? any? how does it compare. we need more pictures, many many more. its pure sex on wheels, wish i had one, and it has been tastefully modded congrats

ive had owned or driven nearly all the subaru turbo models. 22B has more torque accross the rev range but if comparing a standard 22B and a standard V5 type r coupe the V5 coupe was quicker due to better heads and smaller turbo.
A Modified 22B is as close to driving a wrc car on the road, excellent for driving in and out of corners fast. most are on pics are on facebook. the red flaps are genuine sti rally mud flaps. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref...id=43961363411 ![]() ![]() Last edited by cornf3; 06-14-2009 at 06:18 AM. |

Very impressive! I haven't ever seen someone post there 22B up. So i wouldn't hesitate to say your one of a kind! You should whore these photos in the other threads, Im sure people will appreciate the beauty of that car. I think the mud flaps look good. How'd you obtain the car?

Very nice. I personally wouldn't mod a 22B if I had one. But if I did mod it I would try and use only genuine STI or Prodrive parts.

ive seen one overhere in belgium.
It was imported from japan. The 22B is owned by the manager of my subaru garage. They started the car when i entered the garage and it sounded like a hungry bear! Damn , i want one |

When subaru made the 22B they put the best off what was available on the day but as you know as time goes on there are better products out there and genuine sti performance parts for 22B are just not available. In NZ we have Possum Borne Motorsport same as Prodrive in the UK hence PB carbon airbox, TMIC is the biggest and the best available in the world made by processwest in Aus. Everything else is pretty much standard except linkG4 comp, trust exhaust and twinscroll headers.
