Question How can you make the OEM fogs more theft-proof?

The OEM fogs in the "new age" impreza are so easy to remove, which means that it won't be that hard for someone to steal it. Anyone have particular methods to address this? I was thinking along the lines of some kind of special screws (similar concept to security locks & lug nuts for wheels), but haven't mamanged to find any place that sells such a thing.

Ideas? Info? Does anyone even worry about this?

Not sure why anyone would want them....

But i suppose a torx or true security/tamper proof head screw might slow someone down.

I don't either, but then again, I don't know why some people steal stuff...

Thanks. I was looking for a name. Did a search for "Torx" and found some info.

funny you should say that. mine got stolen last month. maybe even a good thing too, cuz now i can get the PIAA 80 pro XTs with brackets, and insurance covers all but $30.
anybody know the size of the 6 bolts that mount the foglights?

Get the STi foglight covers, so they steal those instead.

Get the replica STi fog covers. If they wanted to steal it they would need an allen wrench...
