Default Fuel tank differences

Disclaimer: Please no newbs and newb comments.

I am trying to find out the difference between a MY00 RS and a MY07 2.5i fuel tank or is the tank the same and it uses a different pickup and surge tank on the pump?
I was driving a 07 2.5i at a resent autocross and it's able to run the fuel level to almost "E" without fuel starving. My RS, I have to run around 3/4 tank to prevent that from happening.
Anyone have a parts break down of the 07 2.5i fuel tank or can show what parts are different.
I am in Solo Street Prepared class and can update/backdate. So if I can upgrade to the same setup as the 07. I can save a bunch of weight.

Thanks in advanced.

Hey Patrick, you can find exploded views with parts lists and #'s from a factory parts catalog... check this one out and see if it helps.
