About to purchase some wheels rotas svn 17x8 +48 offset, would like to know if I'd have any problem with fitment. Car is 07 wrx wagon with stock struts with epic springs. Thanks.

pick some springs that are a known quantity... EPIC???....never heard of 'em do NOT try to slam the ****ing thing...that just ****s things up the wheels are fine as long as it isnt slammed |

Epic engineering? I thought they were a good spring(maybe I'm wrong), same as the prodrive blues I thought? Car isnt slammed. But thanks for your help.

You should be OK with a 225/45-17 tire, but you can't go wider than that.
Never heard of Epic springs either. Epic fail? ![]() |

245/40 needs at least 8.5" of width...

hmm, that ones close.
40 sidwall is generally no more than 20% wider. 245/40 on an 8" rim is 20.6% Some manufacturer's apparently don't care about the extra .6%, others do. |

I ran 245/40-17 tires on 17x8's without issues.
Anyway...I just said 225/45-17 because I can 99% guarantee they'll fit. |
