The STi Type RA is the cobra R of the Impreza world. No AC, crank windows, wieght reduction to the max. I wouldn't doubt that it has more power than the other STi's as it is as close to race ready as you can get from the factory. It might also have a guicker steering ratio.

Little know fact: the wheels on the MY00 and 01 RS's are take off's originaly from the STi Type RA.

No, I heard the Spec C runs mid to high 12's bone stock. That's awesome.

What does "mechanical cable type" on the rear LSD refer to? This seems different than any handbrake linkage per se.

But still "only" 281 HP.
