Have a Nice Day? tire stretch question

Hey guys so my question is can i run a 235 on a 9 inch wheel or would this be too much stretch? The reason im asking is that im running 245 rt615's on my 9 inch wides right now and they look great but i am rubbing the s*** out of them
Can i run a 235 or would that just be stupid?
other ideas to stop the rub would be good too!

TIA

Where are you rubbing? Fender, or strut? You may need a different offset wheel.

Camber? Ride Height? Suspension?

My car was SLAMMED with 255/35 on 18x9.5 et38 and it didnt rub. Youre running a +36 effective offset.

I'm going to be rolling the 18x9 35+ G-Forces on 235/40ZR18 FALKENS with KYB Struts and Shocks. Will this fit as long as I roll the fenders and maybe use wheel spacers?

What springs? I ran 18x9 G-Forces with a 235/40 RT615 with Pinks and it rubbed in the rear.

Yeah you may want to go with a 245/17 40. Right now I'm running 235 RT615s on my 9 inch wheels and they're just a touch stretched, with my spring rates I probably could've gone with the 245s though.
