Well I didn't really know where to post this so I figured powertrain would be the best bet. A fellow Virgin Islander just finished up his build on a very light weight tub car...aka Dune Buggy. So here are some of his pics he's not really to much into SUbby's but I'll be changing that in the near future. The brains are strictly stand alone with custom exhaust not the equal unequal header set up....the exhaust is also very short so that boxer screams I tell you.

nothing like Subaru engines ! planes, doombuggies, ATVs, porsche or whatever .

Its ready to take on what ever on the streets..I doubt much will want to run it though as far as I know the buggy weighs I think with out engine and tranny 800 pounds lol so yeah this thing is gona move faster than shatting bricks lol... but thanks I'll let him know NASIOC memebers approve.

That is awesome!!

I would rotate the exhaust up though. It is going to get bashed for shure.

I don't know if any of you are familiar with out front motorsports (formerly known as outback motorsports). They modifly subaru engines for sand railers, and they do a damn good job. My family used to have one...it was awesome the exhaust was a 4 inch pipe comming out of the turbo...this thing sounded and was beastly.

Nice^^^^ I'll try to get a video for you guys..as for touching the coilovers are pretty stiff and if it compress's more than 2 inch's that'll hit the bump stops lol. I'll see what I can get ahold of..I have no video camera other than my iphone jailbroken but haven't figured how to upload.
