Default OZ Ultraleggera/Enkei GTC01/STI BBS wheels... which to choose?

Hello folks! I have to choose between a few different options for wheels. They are as stated above.

Here are my reasons for each one, my pros and cons.

1. $1,000 Stock BBS, too many spokes for my taste but still look awesome. Wheel size slightly too thin for me. (come with tires too )

2. $1,600 OZ Ultraleggera Black 18x9 +55, perfect amount of spokes, looks great, very light and strong wheel. Not as strong as a forged wheel and gold looks better than black on the WRB sti.

3. $2,030 OZ ultaleggera Gold 18x9 +55, I would have to buy the black wheel, remove all the paint and then get it either powdercoated or painted. Apparently the finish of the wheel won't last as long as a factory paint job and will chip. These would look best out of any wheel I think but this is by far the most costly option.

4. $1,000 Enkei GTC-01 18x9.5 +35These are a great wheel but once again, alloy is not as strong as forged, although the face isn't forged, the donut is. Color doesn't really go with the WRB sti. Looks a bit off.

5. $1450 Enkei GTC-01 18x9.5 +35Gold, these would be the same as #4 but would be painted, once again the issue of paint chips comes up.

I don't track my car, at least not yet. I don't plan on it for a while. I drive a lot, though, roughly 20k miles a year. I just want the car to be appealing to my eye while keeping my wallet happy and performing pretty well.

If you like I can upload pictures. I am leaning towards Black OZ ultraleggeras or gold painted enkei GTC-01's.

I like the OZ rims, owned a set before. Honestly though I'd get the BBS ones though because the others likely aren't anywhere near +55 offest. Offest is important.

Course, if I had the money for an 08-09 STi I'd be trying to squeeze 17x9.5 Rims on there with 275/40/17 tires (hopefully a +50 to +45 rim). Yeah, I'm crazy like that.

Here's a reference for the Gold Enkei's.

This is photoshopped thanks to Chainsaw_Willie:

standard GTC-01's thanks to Ferdie at SCS:

WRB sti w/ black ultraleggera's thanks to ed610 at IWSTI:

No pictures for gold. You all know what Gold BBS's look like too.

eh, the gold looks too... how do you say... hm... out of place? It doesn't flow as well as the standard enkei's.

I'm usually a fan of black and gold, but I got to say number 4 gets my vote on WRB.

Go for a 17" wheel instead.
There are plenty that will clear the brakes and both the wheels and tires will be cheaper lighter.

17's are too small in my opinion, 18's are almost swallowed by the bulging fenders.

One thing I don't see in your choices is wheel weight. IMHO that is very important and should be a factor when making your choice.

Personally, I have the OZ Ultraleggras 17x8 in Matte Graphite. I love them and since my car color is crystal gray metallic it almost looks like they came with the car stock, very sleeper IMHO. Also, the Ultraleggras are pretty light weight too.

That's a factor but not a big one. Since I won't be tracking my car more than once or twice a year.
