There was an old 2D game that I used to play when I was a kid and it was up in the tree's. You could jump from tree to tree and the whole game took place in the tree's and you could eat berries or something like that. It was played on Apple II AFAIK.

Anyone know what I am talking about?

EDIT: Below the Root is it. Man those were the days!

Ha, I used to play this all the time at my buddy's house on his old PC! Great game. We used to play that or the original 2d Wolfenstein, some game called Skyfox 16 (it had 16 colors! Whoa!), an rpg called Icon, or one of the Kings Quest games. Thanks for bringing back some memories.
