Default t3 in stock location with stock parts?

i have some questions and concerns about using a t3 with a stock wrx uppipe and stock tmic.

could i weld a t3 flange onto my stock td04 uppipe and keep a similar location to use my tmic? would i be able to use an hks non-bellmouth downpipe, hack off the flange and use a 3 bolt t3 flange without major modification? im basically wondering if anyone has used a t3 in the stock tdo4 location with stock parts other than flanges.

ive had such good luck with t3 turbos on previous projects that i want to skip on a tdo4, but i dont know how well everything will fit since i cant be without a driveable car for more than a day.
