we decided against it.. would look too out of place with it shaved since my Vmount and several reservoir brackets mount to those existing holes.

Doing it big! Nice work! You keeping your engine harness or starting from scratch again?

when the car comes back up to the NW, we will be redoing it from scratch and will most likely be offering a milspec harness that WILL WORK, nor will it take 3mos to "assemble". ![]() |

So you weren't happy with chase bays either then I take it?
Why don't you get IAG to do the harness? They are the best around and know what's up! ![]() |

Ok everyone, I've waited long enough..
Here is a shot of the engine almost finished in the bay. Just a few fuel lines to be routed in this pic and overflow tank hidden. Otherwise, all other lines/wiring is routed and ready to go. Enjoy! ![]() |

Not trashing your build, but how the **** are you going to get a intake on that turbo? Also I feel sorry for the bastard that has to change your plugs, and have you test fit the hood to see if it closes? Does a windshield fit with the cowl like that? I figured you would go front/low mount turbo with all this "baller"/ "because racecar" stuff going on.

Yep! changing the plugs are not an issue
I have the same amout of clearance as before, just utilize the right tool for the job! All of these things were taken into account for previously.. The intake was the only issue, we are going to have to build a new neck for it.. Or make an interesting ram option via fender..and yes... windshield was fitted along with the hood before anything was sprayed. I am not changing the Full-Race setup for some low-mount, because race-car setup that is NOT as proven as my current Full-Race TS setup. I wanted everything to work as it did before ![]() Last edited by dudley123; 06-26-2012 at 12:45 PM. |
