So my question is why a Subaru, if you have the cash that it takes to buy all these parts why put it into a 20,000$ WRX? Really what you’re doing is impressive to some on the Subaru forums but stepping up to a real car like an Exotic and doing some cool mods to that would be more fitting. The money put into a cheap car like a Subaru kind of comes off as a waste of pure time and money, On top of that it’s not the current chassis. Just some observations, spent time on the show circuit myself, have a few friends in TWC etc.

Well you would think for the amount those manifold cost that they could at least get the "custom built for..." part centered and straight... maybe it's just the angle of the picture. Other than that, amazing piece! I am very interested to see how it performs.

What a waste of a post. Why a Subaru? Why not? Are you saying people have to buy an exotic car to mod it? One of the dumbest things I have ever read. And Subaru is not a "cheap car". I didn't realize that $20,000 was nothing. You must have a good amount of money to throw around to type something like that. So why are you even on this forum then? "spent time on the show circuit myself, have a few friends in TWC etc". Sounds like something from Fast and The Furious lol.

Back on point, I love my subaru? Wanted to build a mag. cover car that will also perform..

Car is going to Sema, as Stated Process West and Corsa Veloce are full onboard sponsors of this vehicle, hence such blingy products from them. They are wanting to make a name for themselves stateside. Their work is immaculate, so someone had to represent them

Are you kidding you can buy a wrx for under 10k be honest with your self its the next Civic. I was being nice and saying 20k That can get you a 04/05 sti even. These cars are cheap, look at the age group of typical owners, I know i build these things all the time for customers. Sure he loves his wrx but man how about somethink like a E55 AMG? or 911 GT3 or GTR Something that isnt so EASY. 100,000 differnt parts for a subaru can be had, it only takes a few phone calls and some $ to build one. Obviously this is your first sema build notice how many subarus were NOT at the Sema last year? What was the hot car? The GTR's they were new.

You do have a great selection of parts for a trailer queen ride should look as such when done. BTW its http://www.twcompetition.com/ good example of what you could be building. Just upping your game.

Good luck on your build.

I dont get what that dudes trying to prove...20k into a subaru is a good chunk of change.

it sounds so easy to just say.."hey step your game up y0 and get a porsche gt3"

20k into a gt3 will get you 2 tires and an air filter gimme a break.

20k is a very good chunk of change to throw into any car.. Sadly this build has reached atleast 2x beyond that.. not including the cost of the car!

Dice- I think what he meant is it was Stupid on my part to spend this kind of money on a (cheap) 20k car.. lol

(hopefully someone senses the sarcasm)

weird fender treatment, wheels looked like they wanted to have a little more lip. also, is one intake runner polished, and three not?

No.. All 4 are mirror polished. ****ty lighting to work with when I snapped those..

Again, the wheel lip is not gigantic because these were engineered by HRE specifically to work with my MOVIT 6 piston 385's on all 4 corners.. Had to make inside diameter of wheel thinner, thus pushing the lip out to maintain integrity/strength of wheel.
