Vehicle:
2008 Subaru STi Weight: 3550lbs with driver Modifications: - AMR PRO-Street Shortblock - AMR PRO BIG VALVE Heads - AMR 278in/278ex v2 Camshafts - AMR 2" Race Header - AMR GT40R Rotated Kit (Intake, Downpipe, Lines, Etc..) - AMR Front Mount Intercooler - AMR 1200cc Injectors w/ AMR Fuel Rail System - AMR 3" Dual Turbo Back Exhaust System - AMR Breather Kit Octane: - PURE 93 Octane Hosepower: - 480whp / 420wtq @ 23psi Timeslip 1st pass off the trailer 30min of running: ![]() Timeslip 2nd pass: ![]() Dyno Sheet: ![]() Story: Saturday we put my car on the dyno and tuned it on PURE 93 octane to gather some base numbers for customers. We made 480whp at 23psi. So we decided at about 10:30pm Saturday night to go to the track on Sunday. So Sunday we took it out to Island Dragway. I pulled the car off the trailer, drove it to the staging lanes were I had to sit for almost 30 minutes with the car running due to someone breaking and they did not want anyone to shut off their cars. So I pull up to the line, first pass 10.99 @ 128mph with a 1.59 60ft and 45psi of air pressure in the tires not to mention probably 35 minutes of running and being HOT. I was spinning the hell out 1st. So we let some air out of the tires and brought them down to about 30psi to try and stop the tire spin. Second pass, 10.92 @ 128mph with a 1.49 60ft still blowing the tires away in 1st. We tried to make a 3rd pass but it was packed. I weighed the car, with me in it and my bag in the trunk it weighed in at 3550lbs. Video: -Rob

We trailer all of our vehicles to the track. Anything can happen. An axles could break, you can burn your clutch, etc... It is daily driven. I drive it day in and day out ![]() -Rob |

It would have been a much better picture if the car was driven to the track and driven back considering they're emphasizing the car is soooo daily driven. I understand your point though...

AMR did 10.90 @ 128mph on straight 93 octane hence the world record. no subie has gone in the tens on 93 octane. |

John1badsti did it last year 10.9@127... On a 35r with the ****ty old style 6spd. Our car was far from maxed out.. It had boost issues when it went 10.7. I went 11.0 on straight 93 in 100+ degree weather too. Driven from Norwalk CT to Etown NJ went 10.7@129, then drove to Island NJ the next day and went 11.0 on pump gas 4x in a row.. with 23-24psi. Car had around 1200 miles at the time. Full weight etc.. This year it made the same power it did last year but on 93... Just have not had time to make it out to the track with it. Soon though... very soon.. and this post if my motivationAlso went 11.0 on the OEM tires |
