Default What kind of gas do you use? What company?

If you have a WRX or STI, which premium gas do you use?

1. Chevron
2. Shell
3. Valero
4. Costco
5. Circle K
6. Arco
7. Diamond Shamrock
8. Other? if so, what?

Thanks

Shell or BP preferably, but I have also used Holiday as it's generally a bit cheaper.

I switch between Shell and Exxon. And no, it's not all the same lol. Walmart gas, for example, is never seeing my car.

You can get bad gas from any station. Bad gas is just dirty gas, or gas with water in it, or both. That can happen anywhere.

I have been filling up with the same companies (Valero & costco) but my car ALWAYS knocks when its hot outside. so I don't think its one of those "one time" deals...

It could be that particular station.

or are you saying that its always when you get it from a given brand, at multiple locations?

Knock when its hot outside is usually a tuning issue and isnt super abnormal if the car wasnt tuned when it was hot out. Its likely that your car just needs a retune during hotter temps.

I obviously dont know all the specifics about your car/stations/tune and such, but that is my somewhat educated guess.
