99 MAF problem fix?
Ok i've searched through all the past forums topics on this, but i'm really not quite clear on it.
i have a 99 impreza 2.5rs (i just got it last week) and i have a couple of MAF questions....
1)i recently found out that i can't put an intake on due to the MAF, i don't understand why the MAF blows, i understand something about the engine being to lean...but i'm still not all that clear on it.
2) i've emailed Tom from ludespeed and he told me i can replace my MAF with an AFMLINK, how complicated is this procedure? and has anyone done this?
3) are there any other MAF replacements i can get that are very easy to install and work well? (please provide links)
for now i just want to put an intake on my car, and eventually save money for the turbo, so i figured either way i go i will need to fix this MAF problem first.
Thanks to everyone in advance, this is all so new to me and i'm trying to get as much information as i can. i really appreciate your help!

Replace MAF with MAP via standalone computer aka TecII..
(Gotta take a new picture this one is out of date. )
