Default P&L 35R: 11.26@122 17.7psi, 93oct(no meth or race gas)

Whats up guys...Been a long time since i have made a thread in here.

2002 WRX
RAW1 EJ257 Stock Sleeves
Pauter Rods
Cp Pistons (9:1)
P&L wrx heads Ported and polished(EDITED)
Supertech valve train
kelford 272/276 Cams
P&L 35R kit w/ a bunch of goodies
ATI Super damper
Magnus Intake w/ 75mm TB
Ported stock exhaust manis, Grimmspeed x-over
Aem ems(currently on my junk tune...will be heading to P&L soon)

jdm 6spd w/ 2007 gears
stock r180
dss drive shaft
dss level 5 hubs and axels
exedy triple disc clutch

Car was on 225/45/17 bfg drag radials.

This track is a 1/4 track for car 11.00 and slower...meaning you have to cook the brakes to stop at anything above 120ish.

We were running the 1/8th all night until my last/best pass(still more driving improvements to be had, i bumped the limiter in 3rd just before the 1/8th.

1.61
4.68
[email protected]
[email protected]

This was on my tune....meaning very conservative. I also dont exactly have the wastegate duty table all there, car would come up and nail about 19.2psi@51XX and then by 5400 it was down on 17.5-17.7psi. Timing is still conservative for pump imo. I feel like with a few more passes and me getting the boost to hold 19 all the way out it will go in the high 6s and probably 10.80s on 19psi pump gas only. The boost will help a lot but getting the 60 down in the low 1.50s at least will be nice. This triple disc is tricky, but i am getting it. First 60 of the night was like pulling away from a stop light(no launch just checking afr) to a 1.80, the a 1.71 then a 1.66 then the 1.61. So it was improvong all night. I will scan the slip on monday and i believe a friend of mine has video. I will add it if he does. Something to note....the DA was in the +2300 range last time i checked last night.

well as i said, there is still some driving improvements that can be made.

The trap is a little low due to my tune, it seems that the car is falling a little flat in 4th gear. I will be running the car next friday hoping for some 6.xx 1/8th mile times and of course some 10.xx 1/4 mile times on 19psi. On my old 30r set up i went 6.92 and 10.87@126 but that was on 30 psi. This setup doesnt seem to be quite as fast but the car is a little lighter and with one less shift, i think i can do it.

And in the day light...

These pics are from a month ago or so. Car now has stock wing with carbon risers on it. It is also raised up a little and on a different wheel&tire. I will go take a pic of it later and post it up tonight.

And a cool pic of my drag civic.

civic has been an 11.23@126 on 20psi. It is a d16 vitara/fj rod 30r car. We are on 28psi now(approx 475whp) We are having a hell of a time getting everything working together....mainly clutch issues.

having some issues with youtube loading the video but here it is....the sound is going at full speed but the picture is in slow mo. IDK why....

Didnt know this but i guess i was on the brakes a little early, this track is short and the scoreboard is before the timers i guess. Watch this and see what you all think. P.S. This is not my home track. You all will be able to see how short the shutdown is...it gets to your head.

not really sure, how ever much a super conservative 17.7psi, 35r, 9:1 makes.

I would guess about 375-400ish. I really believe that i will go 6.80 or so in the 1/8th on pump gas. A little more boost and a little more driving and it will be there. I know it will be there when i can get Jorge to tune this thing.!

If it's stock weight I bet its putting down low 400's no problem to trap like that. Nice looking car... the headwork and cams are obviously doing thier job your making lots of power (Flowing lots of air) at that boost level... Nice driving as well.

I really dont know what power it is making. About the weight, i am going to try and weigh it this week if i can get off early enough.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I do feel like the driving was good, not great yet. I am excited to get it back out there this coming weekend.
