Default help !read ECU Fault Codes 26!

my car is impreza rs 4eat my00.
check engine start lighting when accelerating the car hard. after that stop lighting.
i do read the ECU Fault Codes by connecting The black (1 pin) connectors .
the code are 26. what this code mean??

You need to use a true OBDII scanner/reader.

swarka, are you outside the US or North America? All of our cars here since 1996 have been OBDII and do not have the option of reading codes by the method you describe (that only applies here to OBDI vehicles '95 and older).
If you are in fact in another country with a non-OBDII vehicle, you will get more accurate assistance on one of the international forums where others have similar vehicles.

THANKS EVERY ONE ! IT WAS THE MAP SENSOR AFTER OBD II SCANNER. THE PROBLEM RESOLVE.
THANK MUDLER I AM outside the US or North America .......
