Default RPF1's or DPT's for Track

alright here is my pre-dick-a-ment.....

i drive an 02 aspen white wrx....with some suspension werk of course

i have some 17x8 +45 enkei RPF1's in gold that i currently daily and have 255/40s RT-615 tires on. i tracked them last year and now ive decided to get some deticated tires sooo.....

i picked up some 17x9 +42 Rota DPTl's in cosmic blue and i picked up some tires aswell

255/40 Dunlop Direzza Star Specs for the street and....
255/40 Toyo R888 R-comp tires for the track

now my question is should i run the wider DPT's on the street and the lighter RPF1's on the track or the oposite.

do you have picks of the rpf1 with the 255's on them? I wanna see how bulged they look. I would probably run the rotas at the track cause the rims will support the tires better.

255 on an 8 is kind of sloppy for the track.

Depending on the tire, it'll be sloppy. With my WRX I ran a both a Azenis 225 and 245 on8"s, and the 225s gave me much better feel and control and consistently gave me better times at the autox.

255 is no good on an 8" rim. Best handling street tire size on an 8" rim is 225. R-comps you can go wider because the sidewalls are totally different. I'd love it if RPF1s came in 9"...

im loving those rims. the gold looks great. you need to put the camo that is on your hood on all your panels, you would turn heads for sure
