It's good to know there's hope. I had the same polk components in my last car and was happy with them. They really came alive when I added an amp.

welllllllll......i was going to be there, but now I'm not. I hit a steel plate on a backroad and it popped my front left tire, damaged the left rear and damaged both wheels considerably. I already talked to the site supervisor because it was thier fault since they didn't set the steel plates properly in the road. They are covering all damages which means....4 new tires (since it's awd and they all need to get replaced) and two wheels. Sucks, but yea..... lol so sorry guys, not going to be able to make it.

Damn... sorry to hear about that. But good thing is you get 4 new tires before the winter but you need to paint the 2 new wheels white.

yea well what my plan is......get the money for the 2 new wheel plus the money for 4 new tires. then sell the wheels along with the other two that are still good (possibly the bad two as well....i think i can fix that damage anyway) then use that money and buy 4 new wheels/tires.

Good idea to change the look of the car with some new wheels/tires.

You confused me...

I'm still curious how they are paying for it?

What? How did you get reimbursed? Thats awesome..I just had this happen to me last month with a steel plate sticking up way to high..bent a wheel and destroyed my tire...you mean to tell me I could have gotten this covered by the site supervisor? I figured there wasn't really anything I could do besides being pissed!

yea it was the contractors fault. i called baltimore county and found out the information of the contractor in charge. called them, set up a meeting. the site supervisor came out to look at the damages. i just got a letter in the mail yesterday. i am sending it in monday with pics of the damage (the site supervisor took his own) i already have an estimate of the damages. they review my info to make sure it matches what i told the site super then they cut me a check. it was their fault because they did not correctly install the steel plates. they are supposed to put asphalt around the plates to prevent what happend to me and they obviously didn't. so i'm not sure how you are confused jeff.

Anyone know a decent tuner around here? I'm in baltimore City. My car was tuned basically Stage 2, but something is up lately and its not behaving. I think I may bring it somewhere and hook it up to the computer and see whats up.

Unfortunately I don't use Accessport, I had it open source tuned using a Tactrix cable a few years ago... so I don't have an AP available to use and I will not be purchasing one.

IAG in Westminster or Agile Auto in Fallston are the big ones I know of around here. I live right up the road from Agile.

Wish I would have known this was possible.I thought the county would honestly tell me to go screw myself if I tried to make a claim. The identical thing happened to me on Bel Air rd where they placed the steel plates but there was no asphalt transition just a 4" steel plate in the road sticking up!

I don't think Agile or IAG either do opensource tuning. I think you're better off looking in the tuning forums or power bragging forums.. just my opinion

I'm confused because I didn't know that you can get money from them. That's great for you!

Whoever installed the steel plates on Joppa Road by the Steakhouse should be SHOT! They were NOT installed correctly either!
