Is it a stick? They aren't too shabby actually. The sonic with the turbo is pretty quick. Idk about the future of turbo upgrades for them tho, since the turbo is built into the manifold, lol.

SRT-4's were the same way. Made turbo upgrades cheap; you only have to buy half a turbo.

Nice. Now just needs to do a little work on the trans, better matching torque converter, stronger half shafts all around, and also adjust the shift points. Better pads or brakes wouldn’t hurt either. He’ll have a decent drag car then.

i just replaced all of his brakes. so they're decent for now. he'll need torque convertor, new fluid, and valve bodies for the "drag" car he wants... for now anyways.

going to be a busy yet fun weekend coming up installing my new sti trans and south bend clutch. saw some really good reviews on them plus they came from the diesel backround so you know they know how to handle torque lol the one ordered should handle 385wtq (says 495tq on their website, but i figure that means flywheel)

I've been running one of their Stage 2 Endurance clutches in my car with an ACT streetlite FW for about 12k miles now. It drives awesome once you're moving, but the set-up is quite a bit more chattery than I expected when starting from a stand still.... it's awful on hills. However, I just found out the 09+ WRX's have this spring valve in the slave cylinder that doesn't perform so well with upgraded clutches so I may try removing that to get more consistent engagement and less chatter outta this thing! I'll be curious to hear your impressions once you get it broken in. Which clutch did you purchase?

installed the whiteline competition press-in front LCA bushings today(not the ones you replace with the ALK)

steering response feels much nicer, we'll see how it feels around turns tonight
