May not have has the issues I did, but is the raping of your wallet not a problem to you? Seriously, you would think there was gold flake in the tint and their "staff" had PHDs in automotive glazing...

I use sunstoppers on belair rd in overlea. Prices are more reasonable, staff is very friendly, and most of all they never hassle you about warranty issues if you ever have any. I go through cars quick and I go there pretty often so I get an even better deal. They've been known to give a $10-$15 discount if you drop my name

Did some searching online and truth be told- I'd rather take my business to a smaller owned place than somewhere like D&L. Cancelled my appt at D&L an made an appointment with Tracy (male) for 10am on Saturday at Sunstoppers. Seems like a good place and it's right up the street from me. On top of that the guy actually seemed like he wanted my business instead of trying to get me off the phone ASAP without explaining anything to me like the other place did.

Thanks for all the recommendations

Always a hater!

I've had D&L window tint on my '07 WRX since May 2007 without any issues!

^^ this is funny...and I agree I use a guy named mark who used to be located in the back of Baltimore Bed liners but he is in transition moving spots. Does everything by hand no machine fab pieces. Great work and only charges $175 for everything and any % you want. What is D&L charging nowadays? I went to them back in 2005 and same thing I remember ridiculous prices and asshats as stated above.

Actually when I took my LGT for tinting, they gave me 20% discount on 3M tints since I was a repeat customer.

D&L FTW! Done every car I've owned. Prices are great if you don't go with 3m, which isn't necessary if your car is garaged, and probably not needed even if it isn't.

EDIT: I agree with 96accord about something, worlds ending in 9 days guys...

Here's the last experience I remember when I finally gave up on d&l. My dad had a business account when he owned a body shop. Sent a LOT of cars there. Gave us a very small discount on personal vehicles. The right front window on my dads outback would start peeling at the lower front corner by the tweeter after a few months. Had to have it warranteed three times. The third time one of the owners, Wes, came out and tried to weasel out of fixing it. I was only 16 at the time. The dude darn near cussed me out and said don't come back for warranty bc he hates doing stupid subarus with frameless Windows and they always peel. This is after we paid $50 more than their competitors even with a "discount"

They also gave me a discount (don't remember if it was 20% or more) because I went back there.

Bah, guess I'm not the only one anymore.

D&L here too. It is overpriced, but no complaints on quality. And every time I'm there, they must keep the asshat associates locked in a trunk in the back...
