I don't wanna make a new thread for it, but I'm having a bday celebration Friday night at mosaic at powerplant. Kind of hijacking another guys party. Say you're there with mike and it's no cover if you get there before 10. Come get drunk with me!

Started brewing my own beer on September 25th. Now I'm starting to reap the rewards.

Okterberfest: Ready now
English Brown Ale: Ready in 2 weeks
Coffee Stout: Ready in 5 weeks.

Pretty fun hobby. You should definitely give it a try if interested.

Amber ale
American Wheat
Oktoberfest
Pumpkin Ale
Vanilla Oak Bourbon Stout (still fermenting)

I have a 6.5 Gallon fermenting bucket, 6.5 gallon Bottling bucket, 5 gallon glass carboy, and 6 gallon Better bottle (I bought this seperatly from the kit during my 2nd brew so I can watch it ferment). My brew pot is 5 gallons stainless steel. I have a auto siphone, funnel, and standard 3 way airlock. I also bought some Star san which is really easy to use to sanitize things.

Your running all glass stuff? I thinking about trying a all grain and buying a big ass Aluminum brew pot.

Where are you buying your stuff from? I have been going to Maryland homebrew in Columbia. www.mdhb.com

I might be looking into housing in your area, that is if congress extends the First Time Home Buyers Tax Credit.

I have a pretty much similar setup

6.5 bucket 2 5 gallon carboys (really wish I bought a 6 for one of them instead)

auto siphon racking cane, some generic capper, dual bottle washer sink atachment. A couple of airlocks, and hoses for blow off method. I snagged a wine thief too. it's awesome for grabbing samples to test.
I was using C-brite to sanatize but that stuff is viscous to handle. Now I just use diluted bleach. (plus it's way cheaper)

You are def. going all out if you want to go for that big ass alum brew pot.

I've been buying everything from http://www.beer-wine.com they've been great to deal with. I didn't even know there was a place in MD nearby that sold stuff.

I went down to the home brew store and picked up some goodies on saturday. I picked up a theif, and two more beer kits. I'm gonna make the Irish stout tonight. I also picked up a kit called HopNog which is like a IPA. Comes with 5 ounces of hops and I'm going to add another 2 oz. Get ready for a flavor explosion.

I'll hopefully be picking up MW2 tonight at the midnight release. I took of Weds to stay at home and play it...it's sads I know but I have a feeling I'll be addicted for awhile.
