I'd be surprised if you could run enough boost safely on a top mount/stock turbo to max out your stock fuel system... should be just fine without those other mods, although I guess if you plan on moving onward and upward, headroom is nice. The fuel pump mod is a PITA so its either your PITA or an expensive install. I'd be sure that you want all that... I'm currently running 317/363 (dyno numbers +/- 5% based on dyno variances) and I'm on all stock fuel. I too want the headroom so I'll do the other mods when I do my next round of mods... Any particular power goals in mind?

Lol, numbers.... You'll be surprised at how much bigger of a variance there is on a dynapak... Not that's worth arguing about.

The stock fuel system is adequate to a point, in previous generation sti's the idc is in the mid 90's at high rpms. I've seen cars do much better with a cheap fuel upgrade. A walboro fuel pump is 80. I can injectors quick and cheap. No real power goal... Just a long flat power curve.

dynapack FTL

i've been wanting to buy another project subbie to work on, might try to find something cheap thats blown up

would like a 2.0L with VF39/43/48, 650cc injs, walbro, and the other obvious boltons.

then just all suspension

I wouldn't be surprised... I just see people talk all sorts of numbers and never see anyone with both, back-to-back, to prove it, so I went with something reasonable. Beside the numbers, by maxing out the current setup for the most part, larger fuel injectors or a new pump would get me marginal gains, if any, but would moreso be added headroom/safety. And the price for the parts is cheap, I get that. But the pump install sucks. Just making a point. Take it or leave it, it's obviously your car and your decision. Let me know what you decide to do for fuel mods. If you do it, are you looking into the aeromotive pump or deatchwerks 300LPH? If you do it, do it right

I’ll be out to it tomorrow. Bring the brat if you decide to come out. Been a while since I’ve seen one.

I’ll take 5-10 of the oil crush gaskets. I’ll always need them. I only have a few left.

Edit: And I'll be out wednesday too.
