Default Went to AMA and MotoGP at Laguna Seca. Here's some [mediocre] pics.

Amazing weekend. Awesome racing by Stoner and Lorenzo, although Stoner did tire out considerably with 4 - 6 laps to go. Can't wait for next year!

I keep trying to upload a 3000px-wide version but Flickr resizes them all the time to 1024. Lemme find another way...

Hi Kinsabne!

Nice pics thanks for sharing. We need to get you some nice glass for the D300. That body with that lens is like Rotas on an Aston Martin!

The D300 is my work's camera which I borrowed, as I normally use a D70s. And yes, if you guys were to buy me a nice f/2.8 lens above 200mm, that would be awesome of you!

very nice! I'm headed to the MotoGP event in Indy at the end of August. Can't wait! These races are so damn fun to attend.

I was really happy with the crowds and the general vibe of everyone there. It was tons of fun, and a really exciting race to watch too. Can't wait to go next year. I'll be watching the Brickyard GP on TV, so wave to the cameras

Nice pics, next time I would use a lower ISO, I usually try and do 100-200.

I had to balance the "Freezing power" with the noise n such and that's what I settled at. I've never been opposed to a bit of noise or grain. It's also something I'm used to with Nikon.
