Default Friday evening ride for the bikers

Friday night, 6 pm at the junction of the Old Seward and the New Seward hwy's, at the end of Potter's Marsh. There is a turnaround area down there for us to meet up. A group of folks from my work are going to ride to Hope and back that evening. Just wanted to put out an invite to those interested to join in the fun. We will leave out of there at 6:15 or so.

Okay. For those who have never picked up a map, on the Turnagain arm down by Beluga point you can see the tiny town of "Hope" a short hop across the water. It is only a few miles across the water but to actually get there you have to drive 71 miles or fly. It is 17 miles from the Seward Hwy turnoff. Here is a link. It is gonna be a glorious ride. Weather and forecast are excellent. There will be Japanese, Italian, English, German and even American machines, all makes and brands are welcome. http://www.alaska101.com/exploreAlas...rnagainArm.gif

Here in the town of Hope with the crew. Drinking and dining at the Seaview. Pinks are running as we speak. There is a bumper sticker in the kitchen that says " have hope in your soul, not soap in your hole"

Just got back to town. Glorious ride. Excellent food, local brews on tap, superb service and great company. It was a bit windy heading south but it calmed down nicely for the return. We'll set up something again real soon. Especially if this weather holds.

Agreed, great ride, took me a bit to get more comfortable on the bike. But once i hit a good comfort zone it wasnt too hard to keep up =P Definately someone i would do regular rides with.

You are a natural John. I saw that Falco is down to $4250 on craigslist. It is a steal at double that price.
