Is one better than the other?
Can i run higher boost, if so how much?
horsepower gain?

by better what do you mean? they will all work about the same, but some of them have safety features so you dont run out of meth and blow your motor etc etc.

depends on your tuning how many pounds of boost you run, guy i know has a vf39 swapped wrx on 25 lbs with meth injection

and horsepower depends on your tuning.

yes he does. turbo might go out a little faster but not much if youre not flooring it absolutely everywhere

running 28pounds dd just make sure its tuned right and you wont have any problems one of the best kits out their are aquamist
