First time at a 1/8 track and it seems like when the run gets going.. it's over. Anyhow.. On 93oct and 17psi I ran a 7.60@94mph. If these calculators are anywhere near accurate that should put me in the 11.8-11.9 range in the 1/4. Considering I only have an a 11.5 slip to show for my last race gas pass, I'm happy with that. Also, now with STi diffs, I'm considering getting a set of sticky tires.

I made two passes with the same time and trap both times. Packed up and left. 60ft were 1.7 and 1.8. Either the track wasn't prepped very well or I shifted too much power to the back?! The car was spinning pretty bad.

Traction issues suck, don't they? At least you managed good 60's while spinning, me not so much. Looks good so far...I would keep more power towards the front. My car without a DCCD controller spun the rears hard, while fronts didn't do all that much...getting one of those soon. I'll have Star Specs and a FMIC within a week or so, then it's back to the track.

I love big turbos on 2 liters.

On 17psi , NICE work . Do you have Dccd. When I threw my 6mt in an ran without the dccd hooked up holy smokes it just would spin and spin... I was spinning halfway through second , Now with the Spiider hooked up it hardly will spin at all and it seems to really pull you alot straighter out of corners and such....

On a side not Zeropsi wait till you get those star specs they are sick, I love mine...My G/f last night was like DAMN you have some good tires....(as we blasted through and out of a corner)...

Man, I can't wait. I've had RE01R's, RE070's, and Falkens...I've been waiting to pick these up, and think I might just like these the best.

Which Spiider controller do you have? Definitely have the same issue in 2nd. Sorry to sidetrack.

I have junk for tire and have for awhile. Kuhmo Supra's, 205's. I never worried about a good tire because I was so affraid of breaking diff's. I will definitely get a good tire here soon. Is there even such a thing as a DR that can be street driven that wont wear out in 9 days. I don't DD my car so...

well with 94mph at the 1/8 you have an easy 116-118 mph 1/4, that puts you at mid-high elevens with a duplicated run down the 1320.

Nittos last pretty long...BFG's aren't quite as durable but they'll hold up too.

Good tire, softer sidewall than I really prefer but they have phenomenal grip.

I just looked at my last 1/4 slip on race gas and I picked up 23mph on the back half. Funny thing is my 1/8 mile mile times were only .2 and 2mph faster. I have to assume that this is because of the tire spin I got on race gas. That and the slip I have for race gas was the only pass I made. The car had quite a bit more in it.
