Question short throw question

02 WRX

Hey.. question here, when you purchase a factory Subaru short throw shifter do they change the linkage also?

The new kartboy shifter is wider at the pivot point between the shifter and the linkage... an online merch is saying that i already have the factory short throw

You do already have the factory spt shifter.. which is the "narrow" version, which kartboy lists as the 99-01, or 02+ with spt shifter... the oem wrx shifter looks like this

(the top one) lol

So to answer your question, Yes.. the SPT short shifter has different linkage, than the oem wrx shifter.
