Default 08/09 WRX - are the sedan and hatch rear seats identical?

As the topic states, I'm trying to figure this one out. It seems like the answer is 'yes' but confirmation is always nice, especially if there are any friendly parts counter folks reading this thread.

Thanks!

the parts themselves should actually be different (the seat backs, the seat bottom should be the same)... my question: is the latch mech the same or is it completely different. if it were the same one would have little issue using them i would think

Yeah that's what I'm trying to figure out. The hatch model looks to have a backrest knob and a seat belt guide, but nothing that would prevent one from installing the seat backs in the sedan.

so..the latch is identical on the STI...spacing looks the same. Will put up the pics Sunday. The only difference was the way it is released (crappy pull tie in the wrx vs knob on the sti) All other measurements such as width and height look identical..but i had no tape measure on me.
