Without weight reduction and with some great driving you'll probably need a 52 lb/min turbo or something close to it. If you go through some major weight reduction it can be done on a lot of turbos. Xadrian's 18G pass is a great example. Also race gas will more than likely be required with a good tune. Also if you don't mind lag and have your mind set on a 10sec pass, opt for the larger turbine housing.

FP Red = 1-2 guys have done it

Dom3 = 1 guy (possible the best 6speed subaru driver) has done it

18g = 1 guy has done it.....his car weighs 2700 lbs and he has PPG gears.

Why give the guy 1 off results that he has 0.0000001% chance of replicating?

The FACT is that most people (99%) that are 10.99 and faster on the 11.55 and faster registry have AT LEAST a rotated GT35.

The answer to your questions is NONE. There arent 5 people on any given stock location turbo in the 10's. The reason isnt that it cant be done either, just that most poeple that have the supporting mods to run a stock location gt30/35 almost always just go rotated.

11.5XX and Faster Registry....

I did it in 2007 with a maxout SZ55 and minor weigth reduction. I bet it's even easier with the HTA Green and bigger turbos. The hard part is doing it with the smaller frame turbos.

^^ Thats the thing.....the people going for fast times wont put on a stock location turbo.

The only people that will do it are the ones going for a record. The same thing with people trying to go fast on smaller turbos. The ONLY point of trying to run 10's on a stock location turbo is to try and set a record.

"Normal" people arent running stock location turbos on c16 and motorcycle slicks.

I plan on running 10's with a FPred 3", On a 6-speed. Not for a record but just because I had a rotated PT67 turbo that made plenty of power. Now I want to just see if I can make my self happy with the FPred..... I love a challenge and have no doubt it will make enough power to please me. Also wanting to do this on pump gas????

Im not being negative, but, throw some good gas in there dude. There is a puerto rican car that went 10.6 and was gutted on C16 with soft suspension in the rear for that nice desired squat.

FP Red hitting 10s is not impossible but it takes a lot of work to back it up.

Why 10's on the RED? Shoot for 9's!!! That's the next step.

When and what track? I would love to join you. I am looking for 10's on my stock location also.
I feel that it is very very doable with any bolt on over 58+ lbs/min. Honestly, I have yet to see a balls out pass, on a balls out tune with any of the bigger bolt on turbos........ with a few exceptions of course.
I feel people with 20g's and up run a few times and are a little dissapointed for whatever reasons. bad launch, weak tune, etc, etc. No one seems to try and max out their turbo before slapping on the rotated gt35r. I really dont see how a WRX with one of these turbos cant hit 10's with 28+ psi.

Cause it gets expensive. A wrx will need a built motor and trans, at least $8k right there plus another $6k for turbo, tbe, injectors, intercooler, etc.

This is the biggest reason. It will cost you a bunch of money. If you want to run 10s, you'll need to be a very very good driver to do it without abusing your car and breaking stuff. Putting that kind of power down in a Suby or even an EVO is very abusive to so many parts. Every other trip to the track, I broke something in my EVO. Most people that run these times do, but you never hear about it. It gets very expensive and frankly, you get tired of having your car in the shop.
