Hey guys, went to the track for my second time with the new setup this season. There will be video up soon, but here is my typed time slip. Let me know what you think, and where I can improve. The car is an 02 wrx ej25 pistons and rods ej20 heads bored out to 100mm c 272 cams c valvesprings 1000cc injectors perrin fuel rails, smc, 35r 22psi 07 six speed. The goal is to break into the tens. On this pass I got real sideways coming out of the whole.
***NEW TIMES*** Would like to thank JOHN1BADSTI(Shrek) for the tune and advice, and also SLOWMOTION MOTORSPORTS in Columbus Ohio. Also Valley Vineyards Winery Race gas will be next year! Hey guys, just got back from National Trail and I am very excited. I acutally won the drag class Forced Induction Sport. I ran my best pass of 10.66 @ 132 60ft---1.588 330--4.525 1/8--6.911 mph--102.84 1000--8.952 1/4--10.660 mph--131.91 Sweet I got a big trophy and $200 dollars cash! over and all the track sucked at the beginning of the day, but it ended up pretty nice. Kyle 60'---1.791 300---4.994 1/8---7.551 mph--96.31 1000-9.687 1/4--11.506 MPH--123.50 WENT BACK TO THE TRACK TONIGHT AND NEW TIMES NO VIDEO HERE IS THE TYPED TIMESLIP I CAN SCAN IT TOMORROW 60'---1.670 330--4.693 1/8--7.117 mph--101.62 1000--9.149 1/4 10.888 mph--130.18 I went a saw a good buddy of Mine John Shrek (1badsti) we road tuned the car and he did a great job, how it sits now it should go 10.60's with better driving....and there is more left in it I told him I wanted it really conservative. anywho he did a great job 1badsti ftw!

You bored the heads? Was it a ream-like job just cutting out the edge of the combustion chamber? I'm curious how they did that.

I had the machine shop open up the outer rounded sides of the combustion chambers to the bigger bore of the 2.5 block so there would be no chance of any det. prone areas.

the car is running hoosier drag radials. I am still getting tire pressure dialed in. I was going to drop the rear on this pass, but forgot the pump so that I could get home
Thanks for the input |
