Are you currently tuned?? If your running the stock map, this is awesome. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a driver.

I'd like to comment on preparation as well. Its awesome that you guys are scoping out DA's before bothering to run the cars.

Amazing!!!

Well, congrats. Im pretty confident you now have the fastest stock STi on the planet. And if people want to argue that you have an air filter, they can F themselves.

I pass through Newark frequently if you ever want to try and go 11's stg 1 (obviously kidding)

^ How is this even possible? You are either a phenomenal driver or there's some stuff left out. I think the quoted 1/4 mile is 13.6 stock and you got 12.85, That's a big difference from professional driver to another professional driver. Taking the temp difference, elevation, and drop in filter in to account could this make up for the difference??? It's .8 seconds of a difference, Is there any weight reduction done to the vehicle or any other modifications besides the drop in filter? Just sitting behind my computer very curious....

As Mikey said, this is phenomenal! You have a new career path if you choose to do it. You can charge all the guys that have 500 whp cars and 14 second time slips to drive their cars for them.

STi's of all years (including as late as '11) have gone 13.1 @103-105 with the right driver. A few people have gone 13 flat, like downsti and myself. My car was stock for a week though, I knew 12's were possible.

There is no way this is not possible. THe DA's were perfect. The right driver with the right conditions is all you need.

When I'm at the track with my car or customer cars, you always have the stock turbo guys that do 14's, 13's, high 12's, then you have that 1 or 2 in the low-mid 12's. Its that one or two guys that are prepared and can drive the cars.

Ill never forget when Phatron came to Jersey from Cali for a track day. STG2 cars were all going low-mid 14's.

His reaction was priceless. "WTF?? I thought all you guys on the east coast were nasty... Thats what it seems like on Nasioc"

No weight reduction whatsoever. And I'm not light myself haha. 200lb driver here. The filter is the only modification, unless you wanna count my 05 taillights.......or my painted headlights. Idk take your pick haha.

I believe it, With the right conditions and obviously they were right.
Would you consider 100+ oct fuel a "mod"

Why should he run 100 octane?? This will slow the car down

The stock cars already run deep in the 10's AFR after the CL-OL transition.

With this, the added octane may bring him down to the low 10's or high 9's.

The car will have no chance of any kind of knock, but it will also be down on power.

Best thing right now would be to tune the car on 100 octane, leaving it stock. It would still be a stg1 car. The fastest Stg1 car I have seen was a 12.7x The OP will destroy that, I'd say a high 12.3.

Then after that, he should throw an exhaust on and come after me

LoL. I'll honestly probably leave it stock for awhile. Depending on tax return I was going to sell it, but most likely keeping it now
