isnt that a 60lb/min turbo? you made less then 400whp at 24psi? that seems realllly low

It's a mustang dyno and it reads very low. I can tell you from my car being dynoed at 415 Whp before this tune and the addition of meth and full stand alone that the car is a lot quicker and smoother.
The power is much more linear and there is no lag between my shifts like before. So going from a MAHA dyno and reading 415WHP to what I have now is just the dyno reading differently. The car definitely has more power, This is why I posted the different graphs. If you made almost 400whp on 7.5psi that is phenomenal and congrats on that. |

Yeh exactly, comparing a 6 cyl. higher compression motor to an STi is not apples to apples.
There is an 06 STi w/ 35R making under 400whp I believe on innovatives mustang dyno and running mid/low 11 second passes...to OP congrats on power! |

i did read... youre saying its a mustang dyno which is low reading but almost 100whp lower then where it should be around. im sorry youre getting your feelings hurt because i made an observation. go take it to the track and post a trap speed. and if its a good trap showing you make good power then that dyno is veryyyy low reading. i made 300whp 350wtq on a mustang dyno with vf39 tbe large tmic cai and meth at 24psi. im not trying to offend you so i dont see the need for the way youre acting. if youre happy with the car thats all that matters

Congrats on the power.
Question.....why did you modify that turbo for BB? Any reason you just didn't step up to a 35r at that point? One would think with the modification you performed, you are now in the cost range of a 35r, with the lower power of a 60lb turbo? just asking... |

Congrats on the new found power. Mike is an excellent tuner to deal with!
From what I have seen so far, Innovative's dyno isn't just a heartbreaker.. it is a heart crusher, especially for those used to seeing Dynojet numbers. The only other dyno I have read about that might be equally as stingy would be Buschur's dyno. The numbers it puts out seem more in line with what our Australian members are used to seeing on the dyno, and not so much the higher numbers that we are used to seeing over here. At the end of the day however, these are just numbers, as evident by the trap speeds that the other beautifully modified silver STi tuned by Mike puts up at the drag strip. I think the owner of that car is a member here also. While the dyno numbers are low, the real world trap speeds are crazy high, which I would prefer any day of the week. |

I had an issue with the turbo last summer and had to send it back to Precision to be repaired for the 2nd time. They upgraded me for half the cost due the issues so I jumped on it. This is now a 35R with 70lbs/ min wheel .63 AR.
