Same for me, but for different part. Have tried 3 e-mail addresses and phone call (left message-unanswered) and finally a P.M. Is everything o.k. with Larry?? has anybody spoken with him lately?

The problem isn't Larry, it's the guy he's partnered with.

I ordered some stuff on 4/21, my payment wasn't claimed for over a week. sales@imprezars.com never answered, but larry answered personally after I sent 3 messages to sales with no reply. I still haven't heard anything on my order other than the bobb intake is backordered for a month.

I ordered a stromung exhaust from him on April 3. I am about to get in my car and drive an hour and a half to colorado springs and start knocking on doors! I've tried emailing several times. Maybe the authorities should be contacted before this gets out of hand.

I was going to wait to post a full review of the problems, but I'm pretty sure that taking payment for things that aren't available or in stock is how JC Sports got in trouble.

I'm still waiting to hear about my ProECM, the cobb intake I won't see for 30 days, but if I didn't send mail to larry directly, I'd never know it, and it's just over 2 weeks now.

<SPECULATION>
Rob from Suby Sports I *THINK* is the guy he's having fill/manage all his orders, but Larry maintains the storefront/web site to sell the stuff.
<END SPECULATION>

Anyway, if I thought I'd get a reply, I'd ask what the status on the ProECM order is, but it seems that more people are waiting than just me.

Also, in Larry's/ImprezaRS' defense, Rob had something come up around 4/21 when I placed my order. That was the reason he was not able to respond to me, nor claim my payment for over a week. But, I still haven't heard anything on the ECU. When I did send mail to Larry, he replied quickly and got me as much information as he could.

I am really sorry to hear this, I will try to talk to them to see what's going on.

CRAZY KEN, as you probably understand I cannot take responsibility for this, since they are only one of ProECM's retailer. Usually the chips ship within 48 hours (they should have a few in stock), I'll see what I can do to resolve this ASAP.

I had to harrass Larry and Rob for 2 weeks to get a tracking number. After the two weeks Rob gave me a tracking number -- that was not valid. I called back, Rob tells that he wrote down the tracking number, but his desk is so messy he can't find it and he will contact the manufacturer again for it.

So I left my email with him and asked him to email it to me when he got it from the manufacturer. He agreed. 4 days later, I called and he explained to me that his desk was too messy and he is going to have to contact the manufacturer for it. He proceeded to ask me for my email address.

See a pattern here? Solution: If Rob cleaned off his desk, he could process and fulfill orders.

I got my stuff though. The order was only actually delayed for 2 weeks by the manufacturer. Took 2 weeks to find out that it was delayed for two weeks.

Similar thing happened to me. Larry was great, and took care of it. He's a good guy, just give him time.

well as for the intakes, i know ive been waiting atleast 1mon for mine and cobb just told me they are coming in 2 weeks. they got a shipment in yesterday so anyone who had ordered 1 1/2+ months ago is now getting theirs. i believe other parts from cobb are on back order as well. i mainly writing this because a few of you said you were waiting on cobb intakes and they told me they had a problem with their distributor.

peace out

Have a Nice Day? Long Reply... Don't Worry...

Don't panic - things are fine, but I am apparently still training Rob, the sales manager after 8 weeks.

The problem is that I am having serious health problems and I have trusted that Rob, a part time mechanic at SubySports here in Colorado Springs, was getting the orders processed for me. See http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthr...03#post1578403 about the changes.

Should I be totally stricken down, the paperwork is in place for SubySports to continue running SubaruPlanet without a lapse in service or in filling orders. Rob, their mechanic, took over sales 3/2/02 and was to spend half his time working for SubySports and half his time for SubaruPlanet, because neither business could afford to add a full time $2,000 a month desk job employee. With a 15% profit margin after expenses last year, but swiftly growing sales, giving up 40% of my income from sales became possible only by March when we refinanced our home.

However, Rob is a mechanic, not a sales type person, and he is in constant training till he masters this new line of work. He can be easily overwhealmed by the demands of both busy businesses. Braden at SubySports and his wife Dianne are now working to help him with this new job description and things should improve quickly. We needed to use someone who understood Subaru's and could answer questions and advice, so a simple secretarial type wouldn't have been a good idea.

Then, other problems that surfaced at the same time and compounded everyone's frustration have included, but are not limited to, the following items:

(1) backorders with Cobb for intakes and headers (we are an authorized Cobb affiliate and they ship within 3-6 weeks instead of immediately). The intakes and Cusco parts have always been high demand low supply, and Borla just has their heads up their butts regarding making Subaru parts. Cobb is great to work with, and we will continue to sell all their products except the APS line.

(2) Stromung needing frequent shipping reminders since their sales peaked at max production, and they are swamped. #1 and #2 are why I have been pushing Brullen which has headers in stock and the exhaust are higher grade stainless and more options for noise levels. Stromung still tends to ship within 24-48 hours on stainless, and are the way to go when in a hurry.

(3) Brullen not getting over $2,000 in cashier's checks that was sent and lost via Priority Mail to Canada 6 weeks ago (because we loose 25% of our profit if we paypal for them), requiring us to pay a second time via UPS, and then wait 60 days to get the bank to cancel the first cashier's check and give us back the cash. Fortunately sale were good and we had the money to do this, but this delayed shipments of 4 exhaust systems by 3-4 weeks.

(4) another supplier double billing an order everytime we simply called for the status of shipping on previous orders!

(5) SubySports losing their other mechanic with Rob filling in his place for the past month, and being swamped with phone calls and servicing cars, preventing him from emailing faster.

(6) my confusing Rob by replying to 90% of all the emails sent to sales and info at Imprezars.com and mailing a copy to his mail box, so that he was getting 150 emails a day instead of 75, and couldn't sort out which emails hadn't been replied to yet because the number was overwhealming. He asked me to stop doing this this 2 weeks ago. Instead, I will start replying to emails again, but set up an email filter to move emails from me to a seperate folder, so they don't mix in his inbox and confuse him.

(7) Problems with the toll free number not going to Rob, which I have just became of that was still an issue. I wasn't checking the voice mails anymore. I have several faxes and voice mails to sort through after work today. The website listed his actual voice and fax numbers, but the toll free wasn't getting there. Then wednesday, when I updated the site, I accidentally used my personal voice mail fax number there when I uploaded, and I need to fix that today.

(8) ProECM chips are in stock and ready to ship, and Ken, I did give your phone number to Rob within a few days of your voice mail, and am surprised he didn't call you back after he shredded your CC number without charging the card. I will pressure him about this. We LOVE selling ProECM stuff for Dave!

(9) Backorders for vacuum nipples and 45, 60, and 90 degree bends made me take down the buy now buttons for 1997-1999 intakes until we get the old orders shipped. We got 10 in last week, and they should have all shipped by Monday. I will have more parts coming and then will put up the buy now buttons again.

(10) Also, for the past week I have been unavailable for replying to emails, and it appears that some people are still emailing me only, and not paying attention to the autoresponse that says larry@imprezars.com is for personal emails only and to use sales and info at imprezars.com for anything else. Rob and Braden assured me he was keeping up with emails to the others.

etc, Etc, Etc...

Everyone - To place an order and know it will get there, using WWW.PAYPAL.COM is always best, because it takes little time for Rob to process those orders.

He is supposed to handle the "Notification of Payment Recieved" emails first, then the emails where someone gives a phone number to call for ordering, then any emails to sales regarding tracking and order status, then any emails to info regarding product inquiries. Sometimes mail to info doesn't get read for days, and then it turns out someone wanting to order emailed info instead of sales.

We will get things straightened out soon, and you can call Rob at Suby Sports at 719-630-SUBY if you have issues or concerns, but that will take away from the time he has to work on cars and answer email orders and call customers who emailed a phone number.

You can also fax a signed order to him at 719-630-7369 to make his life easier. Include name, phone, email address, mailing address, items wanted and price, and credit card number and exp date, and sign - this goes to a regular fax machine and cannot be intercepted.

Thanks for your patience and support! I have been truely blessed by everyone here at i-club

Default FINALLY A RESPONSE...

It's good to hear from you "all" finally....It's also good to hear that you are so busy...it is "NOT" good to hear that you have health problems...take it easy...and make sure the chip you send me is the right one....don't want any mix up you know! Keeping me informed at least once a week is all I'm asking for...Instead of frantically waiting by the door like a little boy for Santa Claus!

Thanks,

CRAZY KEN

P.S. I maybe interested in a PRM filter and adaptor too in the near future!

I will be okay, but I realise that I will never recover from the pulmonary hypertension. The coughing up blood is gone for now, and I have been off oxygen for 6 weeks, so that is a real blessing...

Having Rob process orders and having Jerrad ship is the only way I can try to stay healthy, as working 40-60 hours a week on the website like before wasn't healthy (when i can't even work more than 2-3 days a week as a doctor anymore). I would like the work to be done better, but nobody will ever do things for you as well as you could do it yourself.

Peace,
