Were do you need a T70 torx at? I just finished my and the only weird tools I needed was a 10mm Allen and 32mm socket. I'm just curious.

Those who own late 2004 to 2009 year 5MT WRX, 2003+ 5MT Legacys, 2003+ 5MT Forester or 2007 STI need a T70 size Torx socket for their transmission drain plug to perform fluid changes.

Fastenal can get in odd ball individual sockets pretty quick. They are all over the Bay area so there should be on near you. Grainger is another option, but they may take longer to get it, or maybe they have it in stock.

I've seen some offered at Northern Tool if you have one near you. There's also a vendor on here that sells them if you can wait for shipping.

For future reference - They aren't hard to find, I'm pretty sure I got mine @ Kragen/Autozone.

Guess I was wrong, neither Grainger nor Fastenal could get one. Kragen only went up to T60. The Mac Tool truck had it for a breathtaking $40. I need it for this weekend so I had to pay. Freaking ridiculous!

K119 in San Bruno has them for $10. They also have the Torx Plus 50 you need for the flywheel on a Legacy and the 14 mm hex bit you need for the service ports on the block.

Now I need to find the Mac truck and see if they will take back $40 socket I bought. sigh....
