Default Looking to borrow a boost gauge...

All, I would like to borrow a boost gauge, the one I would really like is the one that came from the dealer and was added as an option to the STI/WRX.I have one already and need a second one that matches preferably. I am going to do an air restriction test on the intake and need to be able to check boost at the turbo and the manifold at the same time with synched gauges. If anyone is also interested in having there PSI drop tested before and after the TMIC or FMIC I would help if I get this working right. Thanks.

Just need 2 matching gauges. It will be interesting to see how much loss others have between the turbo and the manifold as well.

@Spike how long until you get the car back?

Well if you just want any gauge I have one you can borrow. I wouldn't think different brand gauges would be off by much.

Why not use the Romraider and record/moniter it there?

QFT. If you want accuracy, use a manometer.

The readings from romraider or other loggers use the MAP sensor, these are known to be off by quite a bit.

In terms of gauges so far I have two in the car that both use the same source and both read differently so from what I can tell different brands have different readings.

Once I have two gauges I am going to feed them both with a little compressed air to see if they match.

@Nate I could try your gauge and see if it matches the one I have in the car. This test will be quick.

Sure. Whenever we meet up for the tuning deal on the car, I have the guage for you. We can just pull the one out of the car... I'm going to replace it with something else anyhow.
