Default New Vishnu Site

Hey all...

I'm sure Shiv will be on soon to officially announce it, but the new Vishnu site is awesome! Exactly what I was hoping for. Lists everything out for you, very easy to navigate, and looks great! Sorry to steal your thunder Shiv, but it is just a great site!

http://www.vishnuperformance.com

Expect an order shortly from me!

Default Good service

Just wanted to give a thumbs up to Vishnu Performance. I ordered an up-pipe and was told the next batch would be ready the following week. About a week and a half later, got it from Fedex, just as advertised.

is that their dyno?

that looks strangly like a 2 wheeler to me. could that be part of where there hp numbers are comming from. and is that what they use to tune the kit, there never putting my car on a 4 wheel dyno.

(not to mention just having this picture does make me a little uneasy about using there products . .)

could someone correct me, i think im going crazy . .

Has anyone heard from either Shiv or Joel lately? I've left 4 voicemails and sent 2 emails over the last week trying to find out what's going on. I ordered a stage 0 and some parts several weeks ago and was told it would ship last week. So far, not so much as even a reply saying "not shipped yet". This is not a good way to do business.

I ordered an uppipe kit last friday(friday before this past week). I was told it would ship last monday and I received it today. Everything looks great, and it was shipped in a timely manner.

The package was opened a little and my gaskets were bent a bit, but I suppose that is to be expected with these retarded shipping companies.

Thumbs up!

I ordered a TEC III on June 4th and put a large deposit. Joel told me it would be about 3 weeks; I started emailing them last week and left 2 voice messages this week - no response whatsoever. I'm sending in a charge-dispute form to my credit card company. All I wanted was an order status. Now they lose the order and I'll never trust them again. I don't understand how they can stay in business this way.

Hi folks,

Just to let you know, I've been out of state on a tuning trip for the last week. Just got in yesterday and Joel and I are catching up to a huge collection of emails and voice messages. 4 TEC3 kits are in and have been the process of being packed up. Hope to get at least two of them out today. The other two should go out by Friday. For the last two weeks, we've been waiting for a few TEC3 customers to send back their stock pulley (for core exchange). This sometimes take longer than expected since not everyone installs their kit immediately. Without a collection of these stock pulleys, we cannot make the toothed wheel assembly that the TEC needs to read off of. We have, however, order a bunch of pulleys from Subaru in order to replenish our supply. Obviously, this is something that we should have communicated over the phone and email but we're very sorry that getting in contact with us has been so difficult. We'll be giving all pending TEC3 purchasers a call today.

Best Regards,
Shiv

Default Need to come to an understanding

I don't know about other people who do business with you, but if I have a problem with something I buy and need to get in touch with the vendor I expect them to get back to me one way or another even if they're busy. You don't appear to have such a mechanism in place.

What do I do if I buy the TEC III from you and I run into a serious problem and you're away for weeks on end? I certainly don't expect you to install it for me, but **** happens and I'd like to know that you'll at least answer my emails.

Phone is always the best way to get a hold of them. Just try a few times a day and they'll be there. Lately they have been changing their greetings daily to tell what they are up to.

I just spent the afernoon at Vishnu performance getting my car custom tuned by the man himself.
I cant beleive the dedication he puts to his work. He went beyond the extra mile to squeeze every last HP into the tuning on my car. I think he finds it a personal challenge to see that every last ounce of HP is squeezed from a motor that he tunes.

Nothing but Kudos for the entire staff there.
Heck, even his customers that were there were really cool.

Angry

I'm probably the only guy who's ever had a problem with them, but I did. I wanted to order a pickup mount for the TEC II crack trigger sensor, but what I got was a mount for a knock sensor which is $5 brass flare adapter that I paid $20 for. Oh ya I needed it quick, so I asked for overnight shipped which was $30. I figured it wasn't worth the hassle of shipping it back and the actual mount is $160 so I said forget it. I know this guys make great products, but oh well. Oh here's a pic of what I paid $20 for.
