ha, ha, ha..... yes, their customer service as far as getting back to you might be a bit in the bad side, nonetheless, once you get their attention it means undisracted profesionalism. Please guys be patient, call several times and yes indeed try after hours as they are usually in there really late. Please do not get discouraged for their lack of attention in the phones, their tuning skills more than makes up for that.

Brett, man... u guys really need to get another guy to answer phones, anybody outhere interested in working for a kick ass company?

You guys must just call at the wrong times or something. I seem to always get ahold of someone when I call them or they call back in the afternoon if its vcml.

You just gotta keep calling. It took me 6 calls on Monday to get through to them finally. I agree that it's kind of a pain, but they are always helpful and friendly when you do finally get a hold of them, plus their products (if they ever ship it to you ) are always top notch. I have mixed feelings about them, but Shiv and company deffinitely know what they are doing when it comes to tuning and having reliable power.

that's funny.

I called them yesterday afternoon to let them know that my core had been delivered to them the day before at 2:15 pm and find out when they would flash it and send it back to me.

brett answered on the second ring, took about 25 seconds to look up my status and said oh that went out yesterday over night it should be there any minute!

I said you guys rule.

he said yes we do.

my ecu was waiting for me when i got home.

I ordered the plug-n-play wiring harness from them several weeks ago to go with my emi adapter. A week or so later I emailed them asking what was going on and got no response. About a week after that I emailed again and got no response. I finally decided to call and after trying on two different days, I got a hold of someone. He told me they don't make the harness any more. It sure as hell would have been nice to remove it from the site so I couldn't order it or at least send a prompt email after the order with the bad news. I also had sever emails ignored with I ordered the emi adapter. Personally think they need some customer service training.

I've never been anything but happy with Vishnu products. The service on the other hand has been spotty at best. Things seem to fall through the gaps too often around that place. Items get forgotten. My stage zero purchase was smooth up until I tried to get the samco's. 4-5 months later, after they were selling their own I was still waiting Stage 2 was pretty smooth in comparison, course that was back when I could still get ahold of someone.

Phoning them is a crapshoot. I've had times where I've left messages and heard back the same day, sometimes I've even gotten ahold of them. I started calling trying to order an ECUTek for my car a couple months ago. Granted I don't sit there and speed dial for an hour, but I leave messages. I've never even spoken to someone there about the upgrade let alone have I ordered it. I've decided on another route.

I agree, I believe they are way understaffed. At least they aren't running the show off a laptop anymore......or are they? hehe.

I agree that Vishnu's products are second to none. Getting your product though, is quite a challenge. I agree with a few of you, in that you must call and call, email and email. Otherwise, they'll just forget about you. I almost felt guilty that I was being such a nuisance and a pain, but what is a guy supposed to do? You figure you order something that's in stock, so why should it be so hard to get it shipped out? When you finally get your stuff, you kinda forget about all of that hassle. It's worth it but I wish the process was easier...

All I know is this is my first time dealing with Vishnu and as of yet, I'm not pleased. And if they don't keep their promises as to what they have in stock and how quickly I receive it, then it will also be the last time I deal with them. And I will be sure to let everyone on the site know about it, too

In their defense my experiences contacting Vishnu have been fine, I have called them three times over the last six mos. and they picked up every time and answered my questions. Their products are of the highest quality (stage-0), and I will continue to be a customer of Vishnu in the future ! Thanks, Jefe'

Default Just an update . . .

Still waiting on my Stage 0. It's been one week since I placed my order and I spoke to Brett on the phone the same day and he assured me it would be going out the next day. Since then, nothing. I have sent 2 emails inquiring as to the status and to get a tracking number, but of course, no replies. I know they were away for the weekend at a show, but that should not affect shipping of my stuff if it went out as promised. I'm also supposed to send my ECU for remapping this week, but I'm reluctant. If they don't get it, remap it, and turn it around to me in the same day, I could be without my car for days, and that is something I cannot afford. Stay tuned. . .

Thumbs up

sdseagles try calling them again and see what the problem is usually after talking to them you will find out whats up I recomend u call them rather than e-mailing them, because calling them you will get a quicker answer than e-mailing them(as it may take a while for a responce).

From my experience I have nothing but good things to say about vishnu. About a year ago or so I had purchased the stage 0 over the phone when there was a waiting list for the product(not sure if there still is), and when I called Brett and Shiv they told me exactly what the status was everytime I called then when they said they sent it out I recieved it within a few days =) !! As of then most of my parts come from them, not only because they provide the best of quality, and performance parts, but also because they are very honest to me and tell me strait up what the status is and provide good customer service, and great tuning as well!!!!!!!!

But after my stage 0 I had made several trips to Vishnu for tuning, dynoing, for there help, and for my stage 1, and stage 2, I have nothing but good things to say about them...

Thanx Shiv, Brett, and Ken !!! Am I forgetting anyone else

never had any problem contacting them, either through email or on the phone. I had to have some parts shipped to one of their certified install centers and they were happy to do that...

Thumbs up for Vishnu

No seriously, I have been a customer for 1 1/2 years through various stages on 2 wrx's and have only had the best service from Shiv and his team.
I ordered a Vishnu Signature Series Turbo back exhaust from them the first week of June...with the stipulation that it needed to be here by this current weekend (June 21st) cause I neeeded to be able to have it before my Dyno day on the 28th. Not only did they deliver, but they answered all my questions on the phone, were honest with time frames and fabrication schedules (thier exhaust fabricator is overworked by the way), gave me a tracking number, and remembered me and my name everytime I called (a total of four). I dont know what everyones problem is with Vishnu's customer service, I thought it was top notch for how busy they were (dyno was running every time I called!)

Thumbs up to Vishnu on this one...and cant wait to get EcuTek'd and tuned by Shiv himself on the 28th! (only one...more...weekend!....to go)

Default How to reach Shiv/Vishnu..

Ok so the deal is, ive emailed vishnu about 3 times and PM'd Shiv once so I can get my unichip remapped. I bought it off a friend (stage 0) and I basically need it tuned for a stage 1 and 91 octane...pretty simple. I havent gotten any replies yet after about 21/2 months and I just ordered my invidia downpipe which should be in within the end of this week. Once I get the DP I will be ready to throw everything on, but I cant cause of the "un-tuned" chip....if someone knows them or can pass this along that would be great.

Thanks

I very much doubt that Shiv answered the phone. I suspect you're mistaking Brett (Australian accent) for Shiv (no accent).

But Australians think that I have an accident j/k

Best way to reach us is to call us. The phones tend to get really busy mid-day so calling in the late afternoon (CA time) tends to be the best way to avoid going straight to voicemil hell.

Best Regards,
Shiv

Another Very satisfied Vishnu customer here!!! So far I have purchased their IC hose set, their main pulley(which I decided against and sent back, my card was credited very quicky) and just this morning I received my ECU stage sub-zero reflash from them. I called 3 times in the process of ordering the ECU and the phone was answered within 3-4 rings each time and they were very helpful. I removed the ECU on Wed and it's already back in the car!! I'm keeping it in valet mode until Monday when I have time to get a boost gauge installed so I can see what's going on. This is going to be a long weekend!! Thumbs wayyyy up for Vishnu!!!!

Have a Nice Day? vishnutuning.com

Hello

I would buy a Vishnu TMIC because I think it fits on a GC8 with mods (the y-axis is a problem in the GC8, so ex MRT IC wouldn't fit).

But I've a problem with them! They never answer my emails! Is it normal? I wrote about 5 times but and don't get an answer!
I ask them if it's possible to send the IC by post delivery (because shipping price of 200$ is to much for me!), other shops can do this!

regards
Adrian

Thumbs down Vishnu Performance (XEDE)

I ordered the XEDE for my STi in late October. They said it will ship out the first week of November, but I still did not receive it to this day of December 2. To rub salt into the wound, they even charged my credit card for the XEDE.

I called and emailed many times, to no avail. Then I finally got hold of them in November 15 and they said they will ship it out the following week. I still don't have it and don't have any word of when it will be shipped.

I called for the past couple of days, but I always get that damn answering machine, "Currently we are not available to take your call, and we will get back to you in the next 36 hours"
