Default Supertones aren't working

My stock horn stopped working a while back, not sure why, but I decided to replace it with Supertones. I followed the sticky guide, wired everything up as instructed and I'm not getting a response. For a portion of the install I forgot to disconnect the battery, and came in contact with metal, causing a shock and a "bing" noise to come out of the Supertones. The in line fuse terminal wasn't yet hooked up. Any ideas on what might be wrong? I don't know if it's possible to just fry Supertones like that, I hope not.

The + connections going to the supertones are solid. The ground for the relay is solid (used the same ground as my battery, car starts fine). It's possible the horn ground isn't as good so I could double check that, but if a current hit the horns from that shock I'm thinking they are grounded...

Check the horn fuse for the factory circuit. (Blue 15 next to horn relay under hood.)

If the fuse is good you want to next check power from the original horn power wire when you hit the horn button.

Please check those two things and let us know what you find. =)

Yea the original power wire was pretty gunked up, had some kind of glue material inside of the plug. Do I need to buy some kind of voltage tester to check the power on the original horn plug?

I'll be able to check this again Monday, too busy working over the weekend. Please comment if you have any other advice.

All you really need is a Test Light. However, all of us humans should own a DVOM and understand Ohms Law. (Digital VOlt Meter)

I do hope this helps. Please check it out and let us know what you find.

Thanks!

Thanks, I need to get one. I've been busy with other installs lately, haven't figured out the horn issue yet.
